Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Favorite course
Conditions were good but there is major housing construction going on and the burning of the trees is unbearable. Should close course until burning is done.
Great day Crystal Lakes
Had great day at Crystal Lake. I was invited by a good friend who is a member there. Really liked the course. Number 1 hole was a nice challenge to start. Really like the layout with all the bunkers. You have to make some strategic shots to get the ball on in regulation. It is a shooters course. It is challenging but fair. Greens roll good, and the fairways are tight lies. You can get the club on ball very nicely. Really had a great time. Will be back.
Great Course - worth the drive
If it weren’t for the awful lingering winter cold and the slow foursomes ahead of me, it would have been a fantastic round. Did skip a few holes to play around some but I made the best of it and drove back through and played them after finishing 18. Will make the drive south of Atlanta again when it’s warmer!
Course is in Great Shape
The course is in great shape and the staff is friendly!
Good Course
Good course to play. Just one tiny amenity that I'd like to see. They need to install a ball cleaning stall...
Group of 9
The course was in great shape, only remember maybe 2 greens that needed some attention. The pace of play was very slow, but some what to be expected since it was a perfect weather day and course was crowded. Didn't like the fact there was no cart on the course as well. Needed something stronger than water, but we made due.
Little slow
But they paired me with 3 other guys and had a great time. Pro shop was closed but they opened it for me to purchase some items.
This place used to be excellent....but
$60 on a damp Saturday with the greens punched and no cart girl at all and the course doesn't return to the clubhouse until you finish 18.
Are you serious?
This place used to be an exceptional place to play golf....not so much any more....
Pace of play
it was a great day to play golf. The weather was good, the course was in good condition and the pace of play was great.
Good course/ sub par management
No starter. Sent out solo surrounded by foursomes. Quit after 6 holes. I’m not into 5 1/2 hour rounds! No marshal, no cart service. Nice course and layout, but the management is sub par to say the least!
GOOD & Cold
We just had snow a week earlier and the greens were fabulous! This is a great course when the greens are in good shape.
Large group on Sat.
Large group including fivesomes. Very slow play and my group quit after 4 hours and 10 minutes playing only 12 holes. The groups are there every sat. teeing off @ 12:30 to 1:00.
Drizzle Ball
Had the itch to play (so we ignored the damp weather conditions). Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year; fairway grass dormant, but greens okay. Course layout can be difficult to follow if you have not played here before.
Needs love
Fun course. Honestly, if they just put a little pride into the course they would go from being mediocre to amazing. Still a good course though.
