Fantastic track and really has some teeth from the back tees, especially 4, 5, and 6 (I think, or it's 5, 6, 7). But, there are plenty of other holes that you can make birdie on.

Great clubhouse staff checking in. CJ was exceptionally nice and helpful after having a discussion about yardage markers and the yardage book on the course. Good service and friendliness at the grille as well. Always appreciated when feeling a little hot and tired after a round. Very nice place to play.

First time playing and was very pleased. Course was in good shape for the time of year. Greens had been aerated a few weeks prior and not completely recovered but rolled true. Course was very challenging, especially for a first timer not knowing where all of the hazards are. I will be back when it greens up and there is more grass.

Didn't realize the greens were aerated. Putting was a challenge if you took it seriously.

This course was in excellent shape good running greens. Challenging layout and we'll kept.

The course has a lot of trees down. I did not ask why but it may be due to the weather this winter. It did not effect the playing area. Look forward to playing it in warmer weather.

Course was decent. A little rough even though off season. No food service and limited drink offerIngs. Fairways were mostly mud. Once grass grows in I'm sure I'll give it 4 stars. Right now, just 3. I like the layout.

Course is in good condition, some greens have a couple of bad spots but overall in nice condition. Course is an out and back so be aware of this and maybe take some snacks with you.

The greens have always been great, faster than average and smooth. I like the layout, it's tough, and challenging for a scratch golfer.

Course is hard (Tee Shot On #8 From the tips) , but fair. green are fast, but in the summer they will be faster. Course is in great shape

Overall condition for winter was good. Great warm weather course and challenging with all the traps. Have played many times and always enjoy coming back. Great Golf Now price.

Love this course. I play there every time I'm back in Atlanta. Beautiful course, creative holes. It is challenging. Well placed bunkers, some water hazards to contend with, and will take accuracy to score well. In great shape, considering its winter and has been raining recently. Greens were a big surprise, running a lot faster than anticipated. All in all, great course to play.

I will play again if there is a hot deal carts were in great shape staff was friendly don't know about food there because I didn't eat thanks

Really enjoyed playing this course - first time but not last! Scenic, strategic hazards, challenging distance and hole locations. Definitely NOT a walking course! Fairways in very nice shape especially for Winter play; roughs are fairly thick but still playable. Greens were good but not great - should shape up nicely for the Spring. Midday/midweek play was quiet...just over 3 hour round for single. Most fairways are pretty forgiving but plenty of fairway and greenside bunkers to keep you making shots.

I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and grabbed some lunch at the Grill which was very nice. I finished in under 4 hours. The range, greens, fairways were well maintained. The fairways were also pretty wide. There were a good mixture of elevation changes, sand and grass bunkers. I wouldn't recommend as a walking course because some of the holes are some distance apart from each other.

opened to the public at a decent rate. First time playing since they changed management and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the course. Couple that with an excellent layout, always an enjoyable round.

I played 18 holes in 2:40. A threesome was kind enough to let me play through, other than that it was wide open on a Saturday 12:30 tee time (college football). The course is in fair condition but has a great layout. The greens are a box of chocolates, not sure what you will get. Then again, I am use to the greens in AZ. CJ who runs the golf side is great. I have only played the course a couple times and he knows who I am.

Nice track. Design allows for challenge to all skill levels. Choose the correct tee box for your skill level and you'll have a very enjoyable round. Rating could be higher but greens show some stress. Could be from recent aeration, could be from summer being hard on the bent grass. Overall, good layout/facility/driving range/bunkers, and fairways. Average greens rolling a little slow. Will definitely return and I would recommend to all to visit Crystal Lake for yourselves.
