This course is 10/10 bad.
This was a horrible experience. The starter, who I found on the local sex offender list…told my buddy and I that if we had any alcohol (which we didn’t) in our cart, that he would take it. He also used very profane and Inappropriate language around my 7 year old. I will be contacting the pro shop director about how inappropriate the staff’s behavior is. Don’t even get me started on the course. Might as well go play at the local construction site with how these fairways roll.
Course was sub-par
Conditions of the course were not worth the money. Glad to say I gave It a shot. Would not be willing to return. Staff was grumpy

The course is improving Mr Faulkner and instead of taking great strides into improving the course.

Had a foursome in front of us that was so slow we actually gave up a hole to pass them.

Good price, needs work on growing good grass.
The grass was not in good shape. (Every area of the course...greens, tees, fairways). Looks like the owners are trying to improve the course with alot of areas being worked on. Greens were very bumpy this day, but they may not have been mowed due to heavy rain in the morning hours.
The course will be rated higher only when the greens put smoothly and fill in with grass. I can always play winter rules in the fairway to find a decent lie, but the greens are a different story. he greens held a shot very well this day.
Bunkers were wet, but looked like they would play well on a normal day.

I would go again as these folks are trying to improve this course and I believe it will get better with time

Fun course
This was a fun course to play, pretty sandy but they are in the process of redoing / upgrading the course, the sign said. It was fun to play with some challenging holes. We will being playing this course often. The employees and maintain team we came in contact with were very friendly. Make sure you go in and get a bite to eat, the sandwiches are awesome, big and filling.

Pt.Charlotte Golf Course. Oct.23/21
It’s been18 months since I last played here. Immediately, I noticed new carts,new landscaping, improved
Fairways and greens and new yard markers on the driving range. Enjoyed my day!
COURSE IS GETTING BETTER. LAST YEAR THE COURSE WAS IN HORRIBLE CONDITION. MUCH IMPROVED.
Worth playing
Course layout was good. Fairly wide fairways. Course condition was not great. A lot of weeds and moistures of grasses with bare spots. Has a lot of potential. Friendly staff. Course was not crowded and I was able to play well under 4 hours.
Nice course
Nice wide fairways and not a lot of water. Greens were in pretty good condition. Tee boxes needed to be mowed, but overall I liked the course and it's condition.

golfing at Port Charlotte
I last played in November 2020 and the course was in bad shape I just played there again on 21 Sept 2021 and the shape of the course was such a big improvement fairway were in good shape and thee are improving them as we speak. The greens were in great shape The staff was awesome Keep up the good work
