Heron/Osprey at Burnt Store Marina Country Club

First let me start of by recognizing Jerry the starter. Im partially disable and he brought A golf cart to me in the parking lot which was quite nice. Then because I was a solo player he put me on the Pelican first and then Osprey. While there were a few golfers out there my pace was really good. I ended up shooting a 33 on the Pelican and a 31 on Osprey, 64 total and under 2 hours. Made my day and took the extra time I had and went to the beach. Love playing Burnt Store because of the quality of the fairways, roughed, and greens.

I haven’t played a lot of courses but this one is by far the best!!!! Keep up the good work 🏌🏼‍♀️🏌🏼‍♀️

You'd think the man in the pro shop had drunk vinegar to his breakfast. He was the most grumpy and unfriendly person, we have ever met.

The ranger/starter was very friendly.

I have golfed here many times and the course is always in good shape and the staff are always very helpful.

The course was in great shape. Fairways, tees, & greens were very well taken care of. I’ve played this course once before and will play it again. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very satisfied.

Some construction going on , working on retaining walls and new tee box.

Grass on tee boxes was 1” to 1 1/2” high. Had difficulty teeing up. Fairways hadn’t been mowed in about 5 days. Grass was so high on some fairways that you had to search for your ball. Greens were very slow. It appeared that they were recently aerated and sanded. While we were disappointed in the conditions, I will add that they got a lot of rain a couple days before.

We play here about once or twice a month and had never experienced conditions so poor. We will give them another shot only because of the rain factor that could have been reason for this.

The course was in good shape following the much needed rain last week. Fairways and greens in real good shape, tee boxes are coming around.

The Greens are In outstanding shape with the lack of rain. Fairways are in fairly good shape. Tee boxes need some work, but the forecast for rain will definitely help.
