About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Another enjoyable day of golf

The greens get worse every time i go back
Overall course is good and the greens look good but they are really terrible to play on. They are SLOW so slow; It was like putting on your living room carpet. Bumpy, there are no aeration marks but the balls bounced like you were putting down cobblestone... OK, slight exaggeration but you get the picture... Nothing rolls true, Plugs from previous holes right next to the flag, no matter how you putt the ball just bounces across the green.. I am no scratch golfer but this is less than i can accept.. Only the 17th hole rolled true and was smooth, slow still but smooth... 18th was acceptable as well..
I don't know what happened to those greens but it isn't worth $45 that's for sure...They have a 'cart girl' somewhere, don't know, only saw her once.
This used to be one of my favorite courses to play. I literally moved closer to it just to get my game time and i am so disappointed.. Even with the Golf now Hot Deal of $30 i think i will pass next time..

Course Good; Pace Not So Good
Course conditions were very good; wind picked up on the second nine. Inexperienced golfers in front playing from gold tees slowed down pace. Can't imagine how many balls they lost to poor shots.

Slow greens
Played Saturday morning late. We liked the overall layout because there weren't a lot of parallel holes. The pace was a bit slow because we had to wait on every shot. That being said we played in about 4 and a quarter hours. The fairways are typical Florida with very short grass. The greens were the slowest we've played this year which took away from the rating as it easily added 7 to 8 strokes to my score(90). Several tee boxes were sparse and crowned which made it a little difficult to tee up but this was far from the worst course we played. I would say it was average but well priced.

Weekend rain improved the condition of the greens
Greens are filling in after last weeks fertilizer and Sundays rain.
Greens were slower than usual, due to growth, but received the ball well.

Wonderful Day
We always enjoy playing at Summerfield Crossing. The layout is very nice and the course is always in good condition . It was very busy today. We were 15 minutes late starting today, but once we started playing we moved at a decent pace. We would definitely play again. A very enjoyable day
