About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

nice layout, some short holes some long holes. conditions somewhat rough in spots. greens rolled alittle slow.

Hidden Gem
Great possibilities. Staff in Pro shop very busy with Senior outing. More help in cart Area would correct traffic jams. Allot of golfers. We had a 9
0745 tee time in front of a Seniors outing which was not a problem if there was staff to direct traffic. It was our first time at the facility. No starter and no one in cart Area to help us was disappointing and a bit aggravating. With a little staffing improvements this will be a great destination. Course layout and overall condition was great. Greens very slow but that can be remedied with the mowing. I will be very interested how things are on my return trip. Give it a.shot.

Bad timing
I had bad timing as they had been growing out the green and other course development issues.
I would have starred a few things higher if that wasn’t that case.
Pace of play was very slow.
They allowed a group (5some) to jump in front of me (single).
Fairway and greens.... terrible. Mostly because of watering issues; either overwatering the green to grow or overwatered places on fairway.
Dry spots.
Just not recommendable.

Nice course good value for the money
I enjoy this course. The pace of play is usually good. The holes are fairly wide open and it has an interesting layout.

Fairways need to be maintained, very weedy. Got stuck behind some very bad golfers. Had to wait on every hole to tee off and hit second shot..Foursome in front was usually hitting their 4th or 5th shot (each golfer) before we were able to tee off without driving into or over them.

Have played there once a week for the last six weeks. The course has improved every time. The greens still have some rough spots,but are improving nicely.
1st time
Due to recent rains it was cart path only the whole way which wasn’t fun. No GPS on the carts. Lots of bad grasses all over - fways, roughs and greens. Overseeded tees but didn’t see anything anywhere else. Greens were bad. Unlikely I’ll ever play there again.

Summerfield Golfcourse
Although we had to play the back 9 twice, due to weather, all went well. No real delays.
Not sure what course you played but I found course conditions to be really bad. Some of the bunkers were hardpan, dried mud, with little sand. Weeds were everywhere as well. Maybe I expect more out of a course bc I used to work in the business. I played Sat 11/14/20.

Rough shape
The course is not in good shape in relation to other local courses we’ve played recently. The greens are very patchy and the sand traps run from cement hard to partially collapsed. Course is very close and a good value, but we’re mostly driving a little further to play in courses that seem to be more well maintained.
