About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Shut it down!
I can’t believe I was charged $47 to “play” on this course. It isn’t really a course but more like a goat pasture with flags stuck in the ground periodically. This truly was the worst golf course I have ever played on in my life! For credibility purposes, I am a manager at one the top high end golf resorts in Florida. I am also a 2 handicap so I know a thing or two about golf courses. I can honestly say that the land would be better used for something else. It really was in that bad of shape. A $10 greens fee would be acceptable. Sorry to the course but these statements are fact and not an opinion. The course conditions are beyond brutal.

A nice course
This course has some nice holes the lay out is good very playable I recommend this course to anyone in the area I travel an hour to play there and would drive farther if needed go play and enjoy .

Pace sucks
Enjoy the golf course, staff might need to be reminded that there in the service industry, cost to play through golf now very reasonable.

No Option To Walk
Let me say first of all not trying to kill this course in this review.
Did not have a tee time walked up about 2:30 pretty much dead. I had to go looking for someone to check me in. Finally find someone he says how can I help, would like to walk 18, had my little pull cart ready to go, you cant walk [ME ] huh you cant walk, suggest you all fix this.

Enjoyable day
A great staff that is friendly and knowledgeable eager to make your golf enjoyable!
The course has enough tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels.
I usually play early in the morning so the pace of play is faster than later in the day.
The greens are fast and challenging..

I’m sure it was once very nice
The overall surroundings area hints that this should be a nice club. However the closer you get wear and tear and a general lack of maintenance show up.
I found the clubhouse and parking lot showing significant signs of wear. A little cleaning and paint would go a long way here. More importantly for the golfer, though, is that the course was in the same condition. Cart paths were a little rough, fairways very patchy and the greens were fast but quilted with patches of crabgrass. A number of the tee boxes were not level. On the good side, the bunkers had just the right amount of sand in them (unfortunately I had LOTS of opportunities to experience them!)
The staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing.
All in all, my impression is that the owners stopped investing in this place a number of years ago. Too bad because it really is a nice layout.

Need a little work
Course was not worth the price they charge. Had a retired league going on but still continued to take tee times. After you make the turn you have too wait on the league to speed up and elderly golfers don't move quickly, but they do hit the ball straight.... fairways needs a lot of work as well as the tee boxes. The course is worth 20 bucks at most..

Good Golf Value
Enjoyed the course and the day. I would return. That said I missed at least two longer putts because the greens were in less than average condition. Maybe that's just winter golf in Florida; similar comments (less than average) could be said about my golf swing for the day as well. I received good value for my money and time and would spend both with this course again in the future.

Course in terrible condition
We were so disappointed in the condition of the course. Live in bay area and have played here many times in the past but have not recently due to condition of course last time I played. I read the reviews before making this tee time and felt condition was better. Most courses green this time of year with rye grass but not here. The fairways were sparse as to grass in any at all so all lies were very tight. The greens all have crab grass growing on them making your ball do funny things when putting.
Not worth the money. The entire course was ugly. My friends and I play a lot of different courses and I can tell you, we will not be back here. Definitely not worth the money.

Front side was really slow play. Nice layout and room on most holes for a mistake. Greens need some work.
