How is the course still open?
Golf now rate was $50. They just sanded and aerated a week ago we were told so they reduced our rate to $37. Still not worth it. Greens are in awful shape and need more than the routine aerating. The rest of the course was okay but nothing to write home about. Positive note they DID have water and ball washers.
The. Greens need some serious loving/ attention. Even the practice putting green. Although we were warned they had just punched a few weeks ago and they lowered their price accordingly. Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Hit it close or you putting will get the better of tour round. I’ll keep and eye on their greens, before I return. Great course layout. Fun and challenging.
All good but the greens
With some attention to the greens, the course would be spot on. Great elevation changes and a strong mix of shots. We played the front in about an hour and half, but found a three group back up on ten tee. Back nine was over 2 hours with multiple twosomes in front of us. If they paired people up into four balls and spent some time on the greens I wouldn’t play anywhere else.
terrible condition
only back side open, some greens un-puttable on that to boot. practice putting green horrible...
fairways and rough were fine, well taken care of
Poor conditions at best
Course conditions were rough. Lost multiple balls just off the fairway due to long rough. Greens were small and in extremely poor condition. If course conditions were great it’d be a fun course to play occasionally, but as the course condition was so bad, we won’t be playing there again because conditions improve drastically.
No range balls
No food options
Greens were terrible
Price was too high for the course conditions.
It sucked
clubhouse would not give me a golf cart until 10 minutes prior to my tee time, only because i booked my time on golf now. So they suggest i carry my clubs from the car to the driving range, they come back to the clubhouse to get a car. They would not listen to reason. I will never play there again, or use golf now
Horrible policy. Club house will not give me a cart until 10 minutes brfore my tee time. Last time here
Good and Bad
Fairways were in good shape. The majority of the tee boxes are in poor to very poor condition & rock hard. Broke 2 tees just trying to get them in the ground. Almost every green is in poor shape and a couple of them were so sandy it was like putting on the beach. Course is very challenging
Great course. Covid has wreaked havoc on the pool area and surrounding grounds, but the course was in great shape.
Unfriendly Staff
Staff member very rude and unfriendly, no range balls available to purchase, extra $18 cart fee to ride alone... greens have patches... Definitely not worth the money or drive to this place...
Oh Well!
Not a bad course. Greens had some brown spot but the speed was good. Fairways average.
My friend and I had an online Golf Now tee time for 12:40. I got to the course early and checked us in. My playing partner arrived about 30 minutes after I arrived. No one was waiting to tee off No.1 so we loaded our clubs, headed to the first tee. (No starter)
In the fairway of the 11th hole, the attendance rode out and questioned if we had teed off earlier than the online tee time. We said yes because no one was waiting. He said we should have waited until the online time to go off. He said the course does not get paid when players go off ahead of the online time. To quote him "It's kinda like stealing." Excuse me "stealing." It didn't feel like stealing to me because my Visa balance increased $53.
Insulted to all but be called a thief.
Fun day
First time playing this course and it was a fun afternoon for me. I read one review that said this course eats balls and they weren’t lying. Fairways were a bit tight in places for someone like me who can slice the ball at any moment. I even lost a few balls just off the fairway in the rough, I knew where they landed and still couldn’t find them. Several of the greens were in really rough shape. It was a tricky course but I did enjoy it
They'll help you Catch COVID
So, I drove nearly an hour to play here (again) and was ready to go on my purchased time and they wanted me to pair up in the cart with a COMPLETE STRANGER!!. Obviously, not the way to treat (returning) customers in this day and age of highly communicable diseases. They had already let the other player go out and jammed me with a cart fee which was much more than the (cart included) fee I paid that day.
After paying for the cart the GM meets me in the parking lot to rail on me after I tried to get an explanation from the confrontational gal in the pro shop.. Nice touch!
As has been written before, this place is not worth the hassle with this "gotcha" cart policy . Plus, greens have lots of brown patch, fungus and scalped ares sanded over. I won't be back again, hope others take this as a warning before making an unsafe the trip out the the country
