Course is in great shape
Cart paths are horrible but the course itself was in the best shape I have ever seen it.
This course is the hardest course around only two or three holes that have a flat fairway If you love a challenging course this one is for you.
Worst course in Coweta County
Staff: Somewhat friendly while checking in for our 1PM tee time; he could have been nicer, as we were the ONLY players at the course that day.
Range: The driving range is covered, which is nice and they have mats to hit off or from the grass. Downside is they give you the bucket of balls in the pro-shop and you have to carry them to your cart/driving range....which aren’t close.
Tee Boxes: Do they even employ a groundskeeper? If so, they need to be replaced. The tee boxes were nothing short of a sand trap; they apparently do not move the tee boxes throughout the week; instead, just pour sand in all the divets and hope grass will grow back. I can’t emphasize this enough...THE ENTIRE TEE BOX WAS SAND.
Course: Again....do they employ a groundskeeper? The fairways hadn’t been cut in days and the first cut of rough in probably weeks. Multiple bare dirt patches on each hole. The course gets 1 star for appearance.
Greens: Definitely the nicest part of the course...and they only get 3 stars. The fringe was just cut the morning we played and it would have been nice if they blew away the clippings instead of allowing them to blow all over the greens. The greens themselves were in great shape; they just hadn’t been cut in about a week.
Glad we only paid $20; would probably not play again. There are FAR better public courses in the surrounding area.
June 28th Coweta Club
Greens were in good shape but they’re pretty small. The course itself is very challenging with too many awkward lies. The fairways leave a lot to be desired unless you are a very precise golfer. The worst part was the clubhouse. It looks like a haunted mansion. No bar or food service either. Very disappointing for such a nice community.
Nice Course
Hidden Gem. Tough course . Greens need to be cut but other than that nice track
Very enjoyable
The staff is friendly. Played 9 holes with my 11 year old child which included a golf cart for $32 in the mid-morning weekday which I feel was a good value for the money. The fairways and greens were in good shape,
Birthday Round
The staff was very friendly gave me a discount when he realized it was my birthday.
gerard
Very disappointing. The tee boxes and fairways were below average, the greens were in very good shape but VERY slow, they needed to be mowed. Two drink coolers on the whole course hole #3 and #16. The fairways were very poor, especially with all the rain that we have had. It appears they do not want to spend any money on maintence and upkeep.
Fun day
Played with a friend of mine who had never played it. I hadn't played it for a number of years. It was really fun to play again.
Great value and course
If you want your golf skills to challenge this is the course!!!! This is one of the best public courses I have played at in Georgia. I recommend this course to anyone. The degree of difficulty is between 7.5-8.5. This is not a walking course. If you get a chance I encourage you to take the challenge. Make sure you use Hot deals through Golf Now.
Great day at Coweta Club
This is a very challenging course. I recommend it to any one who is trying to improve their golf skills. I will definitely be playing it again soon.
No lefty rentals
Course looked great, a lot of fun and in great shape, but despite their website saying they had rentals available, they have no left hand sets. So. I did not get to play. 3 stars for how good it looked, but minus two stars for not having lefty clubs!
Excellent coarse to give a Try
I had an amazing time at Coweta. Coarse is in great condition tee boxes need a little work but overall I would recommend this coarse. I love the elevation difficulty.
Terrible service don’t care about there customers!
Complete waste of time. Long story short didn’t get to golf the game I paid for cause management wanted to “go home early”
Terrible service.
Arrived at 12:40 for our 12:50 tee time. It had just rained but was clearing up. As soon as I went inside the guy just said “go ahead and call golf now and get your refund” before I could even say anything. I asked why? He said “it’s to wet to play”. By 1:00 it was 85 degrees and the sun was coming out. I went back inside and asked “Why can’t we play the sun is out now and the radar said no rain for the afternoon” All he said was “Not gonna happen” Not to mention it also took me an hour and fifteen minutes to drive there Just to turn around and drive home. Waste of time, money and gas. Will never book a tee time here again.
Good time
Good course, challenging layout at times. A couple tricky holes if you're not familiar w them like #10.
Good course for the money
It was a really good course for the money. The layout was good (could be really challenging depending on which tees you play). The condition of the course itself was pretty good. (The only complaints that I had is that the greens were extremely slow, and some of the teee boxes could use some work.). The cart paths, and entry ways to the fairways, etc could use some work though.
This could be a really nice course if they put some money into it.
Outing
The course, staff, and range were all great. I have played here a number of times, and have always enjoyed this course.
Château Élan Stay & Play Golf Package
The comment about the water coolers is incorrect. My experience was that the greens were in good shape with only a very few had any rough patches. Possibly all the rain in the late winter and early spring effected the green when Gerard played
