Dont play here until next year when they get nee carts. We had ours replaced three times in 12 holes.

GTC is a wonderful golf course and facility. I've only had the opportunity to play the course two times, but it was in outstanding shape and a wonderful test of golf both times. Post-round drinks and a meal in the grill after each visit were equally on point, with the quality of the food and service being top-notch on both occasions.

Needless to say, as long as GTC will have me, I'll be back.

One of the best courses I’ve played. Only complaint is they did not have a marshal for pace of play.

Course is well maintained and staff was friendly. Played from the Tips (USGA 7 handy). I will say it was really challenging with many par fours over 440 yard. 260-270 drive with long iron into the elevated greens protected by bunkers and creeks in front of the green.

I would have given 5 rating if the staff was more accommodating. Wanted to play 9 more holes to avoid traffic coming back to Atlanta , but was told “NO. It is members only after 3 pm”.

Stellar conditions. Greens hold the ball well.

Excellent day of golf. Everything about Governor’s is fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

I always enjoy this course. The greens were aerified and slow but playable. The tee boxes that had become barren have largely recovered or been repaired. Note that the 7th tee (blue) which has been fully resodded was virtually unplayable with the grass taller than a standard tee. Understandable with the weather and need for recovery but tees should have been located on one of the several other boxes; an issue for anyone that takes no liberties in maintaining their handicap.

The course was in great shape. Just challenging enough from the Blue tees. After round bar great- staff very friendly. I can't wait to bring friends there for a great time.
