Course looks beautiful!
Great day for golf! Would love to see water coolers on the course for those super hot days but we love the course and the friendly front desk staff!! Great place to golf with my family!
Great course
Enjoyed playing this course. It's not super hard but it presented some challenge. Will play there again.
Woodland Hills GC
Course is very beautiful. Elevation changes galore. Fairways in great shape.
Greens are nice, but should have been cut the morning I played.
Pace of Play
We had 2 foursome in front of us and one of them the guys was trying to teach his girl friend how to play the game of golf. And would not let us pass thru. Which made the round longer than expected.
SLOW greens!!
Absolutely beautiful layout. Conditions were really good. Friendly staff.
BUT…. WHY oh WHY are the greens so slow? They were well manicured, but why are the greens cut so long and so slow?
This could be a 10/10 course if it wasn’t for the greens. Everything was absolutely perfect conditions. I just don’t understand why the greens are cut the way they are. Completely ruined the round.
Good fun good times
Fun course , good pace , course looked very good to me. Nice value also. Was very hot out , no cart girl so plan ahead but had a great time
Embarrassing
The biggest issue was how pace of play was handled. Or, in This case used as a threat to avoid giving out more rain checks.
We never saw a marshal until Hole 8, a par 3. Until he came asking my father in law if he was okay? Like he had a disability or was hurt. He said if we cannot pick up the pace we will need to skip a hole, okay no big deal. However, where was the marshal on Holes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Absent, like the beverage cart. Thankfully the bathroom had a water fountain. I guess we took too much time drinking water in the summer for this course strict pace of play procedure
Being threatened with leaving the course after virtually no prior intervention was embarrassing, especially while hosting out of town family. When asked if this course was for low to mid handicap players the marshal laughed, and yet that was exactly how he represented the course. His poor communication skills are a shame. Some coaching would likely elevate their members and guests experience.
To the course’s credit, they did provide a full-round rain check after I expressed my concerns about their marshals conduct. Nothing makes you feel more welcomed than being told to get a rain check or skip holes.
GA heat requires some sort of water availability, either a cart lady OR Secured water coolers @ every other hole! It's dangerously tough unless you "
Course is short, but can play long w/ it's quirkiness. Outside of Marshall reading you your rights about " cart path" only on random holes ( like someone intentionally is trying to destroy fairways) is close to confrontational. Staff is cool though.
Woodland Hills
Course is in great shape, second time playing here, couple weird layout holes. Especially the intersection for the downhill par 3 and the 4th hole. Overall great time, and fun round
Fun course
Pretty challenging course. Greens are pretty slow but at least they roll true in my eyes. That’s compared to other public courses around Atlanta.
FANTASTIC GOLF COURSE - GREAT VALUE
WOODLAND HILLS IS A TERRIFIC GOLF COURSE. NICE LAYOUT. PLENTY OF CHALLENGING HOLES. VERY WELL LANDSCAPED AND MANICURED. AND GREAT VALUE - $44 ON WEEKDAY WITH CART.
Needs water avaliable on the course
No water on the course to drink except 2 water fountains that barley work need to put water jugs on the course
Fun, challenging mountain course.
Enjoyed the day. Little busy and foursome in front of us were trying to play from tees not suited for their game but to each their own. You might want to review the course before you play as there are a few surprises you dont necessarily see from the tees. But the greens are in great shape. Think there had been a lot of rain prior as there were several sloshy areas. Bit th8nk this was temporary. Overall, we had a very nice time and enjoyed the course.
A nice course
This is a nice course, cost to play is comparable to others. It's a better deal if you book using a hot deal. Course was busy and there was a few minutes of wait time between holes, nothing too bad. It would be like any course when it is busy. Wait times increase when you have a group playing in front using the wrong tee box for their skill level. If one player is a low handicapper the rest will play from the same tee box or they just want to get their money's worth :-)
It was a bummer on this day, as we got rained out after nine.
Slow Greens
Greens were extremely slow, they looked good but you had to slam your puts to get it to the hole. Had a group behind us and a group in front of us and the group behind us hit into us several times even though we couldn’t go anywhere. They had no idea about golf etiquette.
Great value for high-to-no handicap players
I love this course. They must have a financial wizard able to calculate more-than-reasonable fees and also invest in course maintenance that is more than one would expect for the price. The layout is challenging for players who want to enjoy a round without taking a hit on their bank account.
