Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Marshall oh marshall where art thou?
Wonderful course, the conditions were excellent although the rough was deep because recent rains precluded mowing. My biggest disappointment was the pace of play. By the time we were playing #4, the 4 ball in front of us had the entire par 5 #5 open. By the time they hit the back, they were 3 holes behind the next group and while a marshall was out, not once did he do anything to inspire them to pick up their pace. My only other gripe was that the starter put 2 singles with us and then sent a 2 ball out right behind us. Seemed like 2 groups of 3 would have made more sense.
Great course- will take guests there
The course was awesome. Being able to play different famous holes without leaving the DC area was a great experience. The holes even varied in terms of feel and flagsticks. Open Championship holes had pot bunkers, and all of the water on holes like the 13th hole at Augusta was pretty much where it is on the real hole.
Great course
First time playing here, course was in great shape, staff was very friendly. There was a tournament when we played, but pace of play was no issue at all, finished in 4 hours.
Interesting Course
Had an early morning weekday round and the course wasn't that busy. It was fun for the foursome members to recall seeing each of the famous holes layed out before them. Our pace of play (4 1/2) hours was ok. We were never held up by people ahead of us, but only slowed ourselves down having to look for lost balls a bunch of times. Course conditions were very good. The rough was pretty long and wiry (thus the lost balls), the greens were quick but true, and the sand traps were in good shape except for a couple that weren't worked over after rain. They were packed and thin. All in all a very nice experience. Would definitely return.
Pace of Play
Pace of play was very slow because of being cart path only greens were a little slow and in average condition
Very fun course
Friendly staff and the course conditions were very good we really enjoyed our round there,so interesting playing holes that mimic some of the most famous in golf! To top it off the food at the clubhouse was great too!
Awesome Layout, iffy conditions!
I so want this course to be everything it promises but of the few times I've played it, I haven't been impressed with the course conditions even once! The idea behind the course is awesome but when you put inconsistent, slow greens on a course that you want to make memories on it just doesn't deliver the wow! I want this course to be great so bad, it just has to desperately improve the course conditions!

Had a great time it was a great day to golf
Renditions
Nice place to play as always, Hard to get a tee time
Interesting course with variety of flavors
Course is interesting with 18 holes from various famous courses. Enjoyed the replica holes from Augusta National and the No. 17 on Sawgrass. Course was in good condition. I wish the ranger could be a bit more diligent about asking people to play at the proper pace. We had to wait every single hole and it was a 5+ hour round.
Don't play behind ladies league
Tee times should not be booked behind a very slow league. If so, there should be forewarning. I played the first hole three times and still caught up to the foursome that took off 20 minutes before I did.
Very Pleasant
Really enjoyed the "feel" of the course. No houses, private, pretty, good layout, fair, stands on it's own despite the hype of all the "name" holes. Greens were poor due to being punched and left to grow out...aI would go back in a minute, except........the pace of plaaaaaaay. 5 hrs. and 15 minutes is not acceptable. Perfect example of why it takes so looooong. The two guys I played with (I did not know them beforehand) insisted on playing from the 6500 yard T's. Way out of their league back there. Play it forward folks. Suck up your ego and work on your shorter game. I am a 12 Hcp. player and played from the Whites (6032 yds). Perfectly challenging from there....
Amen corner is best part
Course is always hit or miss, it is never "plush" not worth the money
amen!
Had fun , real nice but greens were aerated
Great course, rough day
Overall, I never have anything bad to say about this course. Unfortunately, I booked on a day when the greens were aerated and sanded. That should be factored in for anyone looking to book here around this time. Besides that, I love this course and would play it over and over again.
Over 5 hours and no marshall in site!
We teed off at 1pm on a Wednesday. Because of a frost delay earlier there was a partial shot gun that just finished. This meant that there was NO ONE in front of the group in front of us. We waited on every single shot all day long and the round took just over 5 hours. We never saw a marshall. . We made several phone calls to the course and never got past being on hold.
We also witnessed a member of the group in front of us, take a divot out of the 6th green right next to the hole and throw a club into the woods on the 8th.
This is the problem with Renditions. It's a fun course to play and usually in decent shape. But, because of it being "gimmicky" it attracts a lot of beginning golfers and a lot of what I would call "yahoos" (like the group in front of us). You wouldn't expect this at a higher end public golf course.
If you are looking for a good, stress free outing and to increase the likelihood of avoiding "yahoos" I suggest going out the Frederick area courses.
Not a fun day!
Greens don't hold
Course is in fair shape for this time of year. Greens are hard and fast.. Challenging course, good test for a change of pace
Breezy
The pin placements were tough. All cut on the front on a windy day and the greens weren't holding but a great course
In good shape for this time of year
First round of the year and I hacked it up. That said, it was enjoyable. The course looked as good as can be expected for this early in the year.
Unique course
Like the course. Course is a little expensive for normal play. The only thing that I don't like is that you are nowhere near the clubhouse after the turn especially on a day that is 40 degrees with 20 mph winds.
