Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

Great time!
I've played here a few times in the past year. The course is always in great shape. Staff is friendly and facilities are nice. 1 or 2 of the greens still show signs of aeration. Hole placement was tough which made things interesting. My only complaint is that I reserved 7:20 tee time for two. They paired us up with two other golfers. For what we paid, I expected to have the tee time to ourselves.
love it
great course. plays excellent. I am going back this sunday, already have the tee time booked. Definitely worth the experience.
price and ambience upscale
Greens severe and many pins placed on the edge of slopes--no surprise round was well in excess of 5 hours. Rough was very challenging both off fairway and around greens. Very little communication between staff, players and starter?????
Exciting!!!
Great course! Very welcoming staff and lots of fun.
Nice course. Slightly overpriced.
We enjoyed the course. We played at 1:10 and payed the full rate of $79 each. I believe it is more around a $55-65 course. It was nice and in ok shape. The greens had many different speeds and irregularities due to aeration last month. The staff did not tell us of this prior to our tee off so our putting was erratic at best. The layout is nice and very forgiving for the occasional errant shot so that was helpful. I would play again but would not pay the full rate.
Outstanding
A little pricier than most public courses but you do not mind paying for a course that's well maintained. I will definitely be back! Staff were courteous and friendly. One nice feature is you pass the outside grill 3 times during play, so if you go hungry or thirsty its your own fault!
Birthday Treat
I played this course at my 40th birthday and for my 50th. Of several times in between. Recent aeration of the course was disappointing but still had great time.
Great day on the course
A little early in the season but had a great time. Course was in pretty decent shape for March golfing. Staff was incredibly friendly and definitely added to the experience.
Worth the Money
One of my favorite courses in the area, highly recommend giving it a shot.
Fun Course to Play
Enjoyed playing the replica holes. Course in good condition for this time of year. Everyone should play this course at least once.
Renditions was great!
It was a beautiful course and I would love to play again
An enjoyable challenge
You will likely never get to play all of the courses represented by this facility. Getting to play "amen corner" and the 17th at TPC sawgrass in one day is something. Don't expect to get into a rhythm as the course changes often but conditions are great. The course has grown in so if you played it years ago its worth going back.
Great day of golf!
Enjoyed the replicas of holes from courses on the PGA tour. Course was in excellent shape. My wife played with me (her first time at this course) and she can't wait to come back.
Our Lucky Day
My partner and I went out directly after an outing and had the course literally to ourselves. The fairways and greens got beaten up a bit by the group prior to us, but you could see the course was in overall great repair.
I picked this course as the intro to a golf weekend with an old friend, and he really enjoyed it.
There's certainly trouble to find if you aren't accurate, but if you play within your abilities there are opportunities to go low.
No Woman T-Boxes
The course was very unigue and I enjoyed getting a par on the par 3 island green! However, I was extremely disappointed that they did not have any woman T-boxes. Most of the woman T-d off in the middle of the fariway! I had and uphill lie on one of my t-off spots! Unacceptable. I would not recommend this to any of my woman golfing friends.
Play it at least once
This is fairly close to where I live and I come out and use their range when I don't want to deal with the masses at Night Hawk. It's a nice, well-kept course though some of the fairways are full of unprepared divots.
After playing it more than once, most will only remember Amen Corner and the TPC @ Sawgrass (The "Island" Hole), though it's nice to see some of the other holes.
It's a challenging course that's worth the price of admission. It's the closest "nice" public course to me, so I do play it quite often. It's well worth your time, though sometimes the pace of play is a bit frustrating (though they do let you jump around out there if you want to).
Great experience
From the greeting at the bag drop to the friendliness in the club house to the uniqueness of this course you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. The course it's self does a great job of letting you imagine yourself on the island green at TPC Sawgrass making a wining put or crossing Hogan's bridge at Agusta. Carts with GPS are a great addition, though the computer controlled speed limit is annoying. I don't know if the perfect weather made this experience just that much better but we truly enjoyed our round out here (it was the first Sunday of football season so I cannot speak to the normal pace and crowd). All in all I would absolutely recommend playing this course!
Very poor putting surfaces
Prior to making my tee time, I called the clubhouse to speak to a staff member. Playing in early September, I was concerned about the greens being aerified and I didn’t want any surprises when I showed up. The staff member told me “the greens were aerified more than three weeks ago” and that they are “right where we like them”. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the greens after falling for the staff’s used car salesman trick. The aerification was not the issue, as the greens were healed. However, the majority of the greens (if not all of them) had some type of defect including crabgrass growing on the putting surface, deadspots that have since turned into rolled mud, and damaged holes. Additionally, any golfer would think that the greens would have been mowed, especially for the weekend rounds and with near-perfect weather during the previous days. In hindsight, I could have played closer to home, paid a fraction of the cost, and putted on surfaces that would have rolled truer had they been aerified earlier that week. Without a doubt, Renditions sells you on their replica of famous holes from around the world, not the upkeep of the most important part of a golf course. They got my money once, but never again.
getting better, long round
This course is close to my house , I do not play regularly due to the 5 hour rounds. Waiting on lots of tees on a sunday morning, I was given a free round as a gift, no one in shop mentioned they just aerated greens. I was given a 2 for1 coupon however. rough is thick, greens should be great in 10 days. I did birdie the TPC hole, so great day.
Renditions Remains a Good Value
I have played Renditions a half dozen times over the last 10 years. It is always very fun. Many of the greens are tricky and you would have to play it fairly often to know when you can challenge pins positions and when you should be happy with hitting the center of the green, two putt for par, and move on to the next hole. The putting surface was in terrific shape, putts rolled consistently, the break was fairly easy to read. That said, golfers need to fix their ball marks. Favorite part of the course is Amen Corner and the Island Green. Everyone should play this course at least once.
