Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

course is in great shape now but it will be slow most of the time
Get a discounted rate amd play off hours. Otherwise you will pay too much and be there for 5 hours. The course is in great shape right now so play it soon. Must play in the dc area, one of the best in MD right now.
Replican't...
If you go to Renditions expecting to experience firsthand the beauty of Amen Corner or the grandeur of the Road Hole you will, of course, be greatly disappointed. However, if you’re looking for a well-kept course that will present a number of interesting holes and shots… you certainly could do worse.
I recommend venturing out to Renditions if you have friends or family coming into town and you’re looking for something more interesting than a typical higher-end public course. One can certainly have a very enjoyable time playing the course with the right group. That said, I probably would not play it with my regular foursome and have no intention of running out there again as a single.
Of Renditions however, one thing is clear: if you do decide on this course, just be sure to set aside about six hours of your day.
Enjoy recalling golf history as I enjoy a terrific course
if you are looking for a course to match any level of ability, this is it as you can go back on the tee box and sense what the Tour Players feel and see. Greens roll well, and staff goes to extra lengths each time to make sure you enjoy your time. The practice area is just a range but good enough to loosen up for a day in golf history. I will go back again and again and that says it all.
Pace is a disgrace
Renditions is a hate it or love it course.. The feel of the course is kind of commercial but it is a must play in th area. The Pace of play here is horrible, i was a 5.5hr round with not many people on the course. It seemed like they wer just trying to maximize the revenue for the course. we were askd to tee of early just to wait on 15-18 holes. The conditions are good and to be expected from the price but the overall experience was ruined due to pace of play. However, the clubhouse is top of the line and the food there is super! Play this couse once a year and move on.
Renditions
This course is always in great shape. Can be a little pricey but with golfnow you can find a good deal here and there!
Great course, in very good condition.
Fun course with great variety of holes. Heavily played, i.e. lots of divots, but well maintained none the less.
Played as a single and got caught behind several groups of slow playing foursomes. Course marshal was able to help and push me through, to everyone's benefit. It was nice to see a marshal doing his job well.
Fun Course
I have played Renditions many times and always have a great time on the course. The last time was real enjoyable and the course was in excellent condition.
Very, extremely bad management.
I took my wife for ride along since she just started golf lesson.
The staff charged $25 extra for her to ride next to me.
This I thought was outrageous and will put a bad taste in my mouth for a long time. The course also have highest replay rate in the area. I will not recommend this course for anybody.
Course isn't worth the money.
This course is a cool concept but not worth the money. The greens are extremely beat up, making it difficult to make putts. Greens also were fairly inconsistent with the speeds. Rough was fairly choppy. A few bunkers had a lot of rocks. I was having issues with my cart and requested a new one while on 11 or 12 and was never brought a new one (there was an option on the cart to get a new one). Overall, I would not recommend this course if you're paying more than $50 (and that may even be steep). I put average for value of the course but I feel it falls between poor and average.
Needs works in up keep
Losing the greens and some fairways. Need to put some money into the course
GREAT DEAL BASED ON GOLF NOW RATE
COURSE WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. NO CART SERVICE OUT ON THE COURSE ? YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR RANGE BALLS AT A PREMIUM COURSE.
NICE CLUB HOUSE . GREAT BAR AND FOOD SERVICE INSIDE.
Great time
I am an avid golfer and fan of the game. It was great to play some of the famous holes that I see on tv. I especially enjoyed Amen Corner and the 17th at Sawgrass (even though I hit it in the water). I can't wait to play again.
The staff was great especially Jim the bartender.
Great experience...Must play
Feels like around the world playing different course holes, which you always see on the TV where pros play. Play smart and you will be happy. I had to use all my clubs in the bag, small mistakes are costly....hit the green on the tpc #17 replica..... you fell like you did it.
Beat up
This is a replica course that replicates famous holes from around the world. It's pretty cool to walk in the footsteps of the pros, but with my experience that's what your paying for. The greens were recently aerated and that's fine. But what isn't fine is the amount of burnt spots/ Dead spots on the green. And the consistency was horrible as well. Fairways and tee boxes were really soft, but it hasn't rained recently and the weather has been gorgeous. I don't know why they would over-water the course. Like I said you are paying for the experience, apparently your not paying for the conditions! I've played here once before and was very disappointed!
nice course but a little pricey
Its a nice course. Some fun signature holes. A little pricey though.
Best course!!!!
Wow! What a great golf course! What a neat concept, having replicas of famous holes from various PGA tour stops across the country. It is very well kept (however, the greens are currently being aerated - posted 8/25/13 - once greens are back in shape, that is a course to play), the staff was exceptional, and the locals are nice. Recommend to anyone who enjoys the game of golf...
good
good, and in good shape considering aeration alert.. Practice green much slower than course.
Interesting course
The course feature copies of holes from famous courses around the world, including TPC Sawgrass 17 (island green), Merion #11 complete with wicker basket, Carnoustie #6, and Amen Corner (Augusta #11 - 13).
They did a very good job in creating the feel for each course, and kept me excited throughout the round.
The negative was the condition of and around the greens. While they are in relatively good condition, some parts required attention. The practice green was closed, and #17 was notable for the fact that it was covered in sand. In addition, there were several bees nests in bunkers, so be aware!
Everything else about the facility was first rate, including the driving range, pro shop, staff and club house.
I look forward to playing when the condition is better.
the greens just got "punched" but.....
The course was in great shape and they rolled better than expected...they offered us a 2 fo. Deal at a later date. Unlike a lot of courses they told us about the greens up front
The green were in terrible shape. Many unfixed divots from from previous days
