Ahhhhh..
Bobby Jones is a perfect example of why municipal governments shouldn’t be allowed to manage golf courses. Own them? Sure. Manage them? Absolutely not. To say this place was in poor condition would be generous. And it’s honestly all because of management, or rather a lack there of.. in my opinion anyway. You can tell there’s little to no accountability for maintaining course conditions. Zero thought put into properly caring for, and rotating the range area hitting surfaces.
Yardage markers needed
Nice greens for a par 3 course. They really needs accurate yardage distances on each tee box. Cards are off by as much as 40 yards on some holes. Put yardage on barrels ffom middle of tee box to middle of green. Problem solved for a few hundred dollars. Universal complaint of every player hanging around afterwards. Other than that, nice course.
Lacking
Used maybe 3 different clubs throughout the day. I think there are 7 straight holes where I used the same club on the tee box. The greens are in good shape but everything else is lacking.
Very disappointing course
First time I had played this course. It was in terrible condition, and ridiculously short.
I expected after the revamp some 2 years ago that it would be a good experience.
Greens are nice.
They switched the layout and it’s much better. Greens and tee boxes are in good shape, fairways not so much. It’s a par three set up so fairways don’t really come into play for average golfer. One change they need to make is adding CORRECT yardage at the tee box. Yardage on cards is way off.
Awful
We bought tee times off of Golf Now.
9 holes, $30.00, for golf, cart and taxes it said in the reservation. When we checked in, we were charged for a cart or couldn't play.
Rude staff
Awful
I booked through Golf Now for $30.00 for golf, cart and taxes. At check in we were charged for a cart. I showed my reservation showing cart was included in the price and was told we still had to pay for a cart.
Great for beginners
Short course but allows you to work on par 3 approaches and chips. I am a beginner player in which this course was open and friendly to beginners.
Sad 30 bucks
City should be ashamed. Course in disarray. Maintenance terrible. Staff untrained.
