Not worth the money
It was a disappointment from the start. No one at the bag drop. My wife went in and had to wait while counter man grabbed with a local. Then let a foursome skip in front of her because their tee time was before ours. Made no mention of range balls of where the range was even though was supposed to be included. No great loss since the driving “range” (a pond) was about 500 yards away.
Got to the first tee on time and had to wait for a group of 6 in front of us. Supposed to have only 4 playing but as round progressed we noticed others participating. No rangers. Finally we just passed them on a hole. Tees and fairways were sparse but greens were good. Sandtraps shallow and caked.
We paid $59 b4 tax and charges. Really only worth $25. Only way I’d play it again is for free to make up for what we should of payed.
Enjoyable Round
One male and three females played this course this morning and were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course. The tee boxes were a little rough and fairways dry but considering the lack of rain in our area we could dismiss these conditions. The greens were in excellent shape and putted true! We had a wonderful three hour round and will return soon.
The course is fun to play.
Front 9 is fun and challenging and the back 9 is full of short par 3’s. A good course to work on your irons, pitch and putt game but not on their $69.99 standard green fees. A few years ago i could play it for $35 which included a free lunch of a hot dog and a beer. I’ve played it twice this year but must keep it in the $40’s for green fees. Go to the special online specials.
Quick round usually that you can use all your clubs
The front nine is a full course while the back nine is mostly par 3s. the greens are in good shape while the fairways lack grass in many areas.
Tee boxes need a lot of work. Greens and fairways are OK but not great. Fun to play if looking for a break from a Par 72 course
Needs water
This course could be pleasant and interesting. Some decent holes although the back nine is a little strange with 7 par 3’s. However we would have enjoyed it more if there was any grass on the fairways. There is clearly no effort to water the fairways and they were hard, largely bare and it was like hitting off of hard pan. If the management would commit to maintaining the course (including the tee boxes which were pockmarked with divots and dirt) this could be a fun course. The greens were decent and ran relatively true. Sand traps were hard with little sand.
At $50 this seemed to be a case of you get what you pay for.
Odd par 3 combo and bad pace
This course has been around for years, and was redesigned so the back nine is basically a par 3 executive course, which is a bit odd. Plus, the range is only hitting into a pond with no drivers allowed and no credit card payment option. Luckily the course is moderately priced. It has some interesting slopes and water hazards. But it's a really slow pace during tourist season. Had golfers search for a ball for 15 minutes while I waited
Forget the Negative Reviews
This is a great, well maintained course. It’s not long but it will challenge every aspect of your game. No part-5 holes but long par 4’s and 3’s.
The staff could not be anymore welcoming and friendly. As our group was a first time visit, Dave the starter made sure to explain every hole to our advantage.
I’ll play her again soon.
Worth the money
Great day on the links; played 18…quick pace and friendly staff
Interesting but not worth the price
$75 for an executive course . Locals course that play at their own pace.
Amazing staff, course just a little rough!
The people that work here are amazing! Super nice, will do anything for ya. But the course itself, not great. Greens are slow and have spots of missing grass. Cart paths are confusing, you almost have to drive onto a 6 lane road to get to hole 9.
Good place
The fairways were very nice, and the greens rolled true, but a couple greens had some bad spots. The hole placement was set away from any bad areas so we would just move the ball away from those spots and still have a similar putt.
The back nine are all par 3s
