The Palms Golf Club At Forest Lakes

We both enjoyed playing this golf course. It’s long enough to swing the driver and short enough for my wife not to get frustrated. Playing greens are OK course could use a little bit of improvement but otherwise for the value it’s a keeper.

Perfect course for beginners, intermediate and ladies

Played 9 holes with a party of 3 total (we are true amateurs). Quiet place, well-maintained and no other golfers on our heels. A great place to work on your short game without feeling rushed by others. Some nice areas to put the hybrids to work as well.

1st time at this course and will definitely put it in rotation as a “regular” spot.

The course isn’t very rough shape and they’ve obviously had a fungus attack the greens and the tea boxes. Also, the layout could be improved. They have several parties back to back through the exact same distance, naked easily add to or shorten a hole just to give it some variety.

I’d like to start by saying anytime you get to go to the course it’s a good day and I did find a deal and played for $25 but the course was competing for the worst condition of any course I’ve ever played and at least for now, I could not recommend it. All except a couple of greens have been killed by a fungus, and there are large sand patches in the fairways also hole 16 was completely closed. They could also do a little better job with the course layout. Several of the par threes are the same distance back to back, which gets monotonous key off with the same club half the time.

Pace of play was great. Played 18 holes ( 2 golfers ) in a little over 3 hours. A few more par 3:holes however they each had unique challenges.

This was my first time to play this course. The day before I scouted it out so that I would know where everything was (driving range, first tee, etc.). As I was entering the pro shop, a fellow golfer was leaving and he told us that it was a very difficult course and that it would "chew you up and spit you out." I wasn't sure if he was kidding or not but I did find that when I played it, the first nine holes were very challenging, especially if played from the gold tees. However, the back 9 was basically a par-3 course. Only holes 10 and 18 were par 4s and all the others were par 3.

I always enjoy playing in this golf course! I recommend everyone to try at lease once and see how you like it. I am pretty sure you want to come back more often. This is exactly what happened to me and my wife!

Second time playing this course. Like the layout and value.

We had a group of eight ladies. Thats played 18. Course conditions weee good and pace of playas well. Had a fun afternoon. Will return to The Palms.

Apart from the mostly par 3’s on the back 9, the course is very playable and quite scenic with an abundance of birds and also turtles in the water hazards.

The greens and fairways are in good shape but the T boxes are in need of maintenance and the markers on the tees are in bad shape and in need of replacement.
