Coyote Springs Golf Club
About
Coyote Springs Golf Club (previously known as Coyote Springs - The Chase Course) is located less than one hour from the Las Vegas Strip and just 45 minutes from Mesquite, Nevada. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is highly regarded as a must-play by Vegas golf aficionados. The course's stunning setting is sometimes referred to as "nature's cradle" since it's situated in a verdant valley completely surrounded by majestic mountains and peaks. While the scenery may be beautiful, don't let it distract you from the golf course's many challenges. Water and bunkers await you at almost every turn. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 second, whose bunkers at the second landing area will force you to think carefully about how to approach the Augusta-like green. In addition to the golf course, Coyote Springs offers one of the largest practice facilities in the country. This 19-acre facility includes 13 target greens and a short game area for pitching, chipping, and bunker practice.

Great Golf Course.
This golf course is a must play. If you ever get a chance to play coyote Springs definitely do. What a beautiful course and beautiful layout. Aaron
Amazing course
First impression driving into the parking lot of the golf course I thought it was pretty dumpy. Trailer park for restaurant and pro shop, but was greeted with friendly staff, practice facilities is one of the best I've been to. Real greens for target practice. The course was amazing, beautiful scenery, great fairways and great greens. Wish there was gps on the carts, but they had lots of markers in the ground that helped. This course I would say is 2 times better than a course in Idaho called circling raven, which is a top 25 native course in the nation by golf magazine I believe. I used golf now and got it under 45 and thats an amazing deal. I definitely will play this from the tips again which made a couple par 3s 230 pars challenging:)
Great course
Was in LV on vacation and thought this course was closer to the city. Oops.. had to get a rental car but it was well worth the drive. Plays like a pro course which cost me a few balls but was extremely well manicured and not busy at all. I wish there would have been water dispensers on the course or wish we could have seen the cart girl one more time. The turn doesn’t happen at the club house so no chance to refill on water. Otherwise, was fun to play! Staff were great and nice to chat with.
Oasis of EPICNESS
Without question one of the best in the west!!! Loved everything about it- even the drive in is special!!! Trust your gps- there really is a WORLD class golf course in the middle of that abyss...you'll thank me forever after you experience the Springs!!! Viva Coyote & all the staff- everything about the course and facility is awesome!!! JP from Pinehurst NC
First Time
First time visiting this course after hearing great things from “TIGER” Lily Garcia-Kurotobi, who is a PGA instructor at a nearby course. Interesting lay outs and undulations make for better than expected conditions. Lots of water features on the course brings a different dynamic of play in a desert course. Will come back again.
Great course in middle of nowhere
Great course about an hour north of Las Vegas. Was supposed to be part of a planned community which never developed. Nicklaus course, great design and variety. Not an easy course (even from the white tees). A bit of a strange configuration - the 1st and 10th tees are far from the clubhouse. It would be impossible to walk. Great range, nice people working. Modest proshop and there is a bar and grill (my sandwich was good). Many visits from the beverage carts.
Course in perfect Condition.
Great course all around. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Tea boxes and fairways were in great shape. Greens were in good shape as well, very fast and hard to read. Narrow course and fairway bunkers make it a fun challenge. About one hour away from the strip. Will definitely go back and take a friend
The Layout & Course Conditions are Birdies
We arrived early and the starter sent us off early on the front nine. That doesn't happen at many courses. The pace of play for a good threesome on the first 16 holes was about 3 hours. Then we caught up with a junior golf tournament that started on the back nine when we had started the front. 17, 18 & 19 took 20 minutes per hole with waiting.
The course layout is excellent. The course fairways and greens held up well to 96*F with a 5 to 10 mph wind.
The amenities all appear to be temporary, just adequate. With a permanent restaurant and nearby accommodations, this could become a destination resort.
The drive to Mesquite for accomodations is on a narrow winding road through barren desert washes. The drive to Vegas, although on a better highway, is also a stretch.
