Coyote Springs Golf Club

About
Coyote Springs Golf Club (previously known as Coyote Springs - The Chase Course) is located less than one hour from the Las Vegas Strip and just 45 minutes from Mesquite, Nevada. This Jack Nicklaus Signature Course is highly regarded as a must-play by Vegas golf aficionados. The course's stunning setting is sometimes referred to as "nature's cradle" since it's situated in a verdant valley completely surrounded by majestic mountains and peaks. While the scenery may be beautiful, don't let it distract you from the golf course's many challenges. Water and bunkers await you at almost every turn. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 second, whose bunkers at the second landing area will force you to think carefully about how to approach the Augusta-like green. In addition to the golf course, Coyote Springs offers one of the largest practice facilities in the country. This 19-acre facility includes 13 target greens and a short game area for pitching, chipping, and bunker practice.

Underwhelmed
I was disappointed as I was looking forward to playing Coyote Springs. Jack Nicklaus courses are always a challenge and are well worth the trip. However, the pace of play (5 hours +) the day I played ruined my experience . I actually had to leave with 2 holes to go to catch an appointment. The other thing that was disappointing was not seeing a drinks cart from hole 3. - 13. If the round is gonna be that long then service has to step up. Too many courses in Las Vegas to drive an hour for that type of experience. Disappointed!!
Overall Good course
We golf this course once a year when we come to Las Vegas. It has always been immaculate. I have never seen it in its current condition. A lot of dead grass or dirt on the tee boxes and elsewhere. The fairways and the greens are still in good shape.
Beautiful course
This golf course is truly amazing. It is out there but we'll worth the drive. Only 2 issues that I see need to be addressed. There needs to be water coolers on the course and there needs to be ice available between hole 9 and 10. Amazing and perfect conditions even in 109 degree weather.
Only issue was not having water on the course and only one time seeing drink person. Finished around 4 and everything was closed.
Great course and worth the drive!
Wow! What a great course. The staff is friendly, the course is in perfect condition, the scenery is beautiful and the pace of play was perfect. Yes, this may be a bit out of the way, but WELL worth it. This is best non-resort course I’ve played thus far.
Nice track in the middle of nowhere
The course has a great layout, staff is very chill and the grill puts out some decent grub after the round. It takes about a hour drive out of Vegas but if you got a group of people that likes a tough course, this is the place. My only complaint was the bunkers were a little rough, not enough of sand. If it was thirty minutes closer it would be my go to course.
A $500 course that you can play for $62
What can I say, I enjoyed the course very much with the awesome conditions and the cost. Sure, it’s was blazing hot (102 degrees) but the enjoyable round was worth bearing the temps. The greens were running a bit slower than usual probably because they had a lot of rain a week prior and I dis not see one bald or burnt spot anywhere on the course.
That staff are super friendly and very accommodating.
If you just want to play a fun round and don’t care too much about anything else, then this is the place for you. I’d be happy to play this course again.
My favorite course
Course was in excellent shape , can't wait to go back.
Great Golf Course.
This golf course is a must play. If you ever get a chance to play coyote Springs definitely do. What a beautiful course and beautiful layout. Aaron
Amazing course
First impression driving into the parking lot of the golf course I thought it was pretty dumpy. Trailer park for restaurant and pro shop, but was greeted with friendly staff, practice facilities is one of the best I've been to. Real greens for target practice. The course was amazing, beautiful scenery, great fairways and great greens. Wish there was gps on the carts, but they had lots of markers in the ground that helped. This course I would say is 2 times better than a course in Idaho called circling raven, which is a top 25 native course in the nation by golf magazine I believe. I used golf now and got it under 45 and thats an amazing deal. I definitely will play this from the tips again which made a couple par 3s 230 pars challenging:)
Great course
Was in LV on vacation and thought this course was closer to the city. Oops.. had to get a rental car but it was well worth the drive. Plays like a pro course which cost me a few balls but was extremely well manicured and not busy at all. I wish there would have been water dispensers on the course or wish we could have seen the cart girl one more time. The turn doesn’t happen at the club house so no chance to refill on water. Otherwise, was fun to play! Staff were great and nice to chat with.
First Time
First time visiting this course after hearing great things from “TIGER” Lily Garcia-Kurotobi, who is a PGA instructor at a nearby course. Interesting lay outs and undulations make for better than expected conditions. Lots of water features on the course brings a different dynamic of play in a desert course. Will come back again.
