Bent Tree Country Club

Most consistent course in the area. Despite damage from the storms management has gradually made progress putting the course back together. Even a week after the storm the greens and fairways were in good shape and playable. Greens are now rolling good and fairways are in good shape. Fun to play - favorites are 7 & 9. Need shot placements to birdie

Low end course, not taken care of well aside from the putting green. Friendly staff but overpriced rounds.

Well designed course, but conditions could be better. The fairways were a little shaggy like they hadn’t been cut for a couple days. Greens were ok but not fast. This was on NYD so understandable. Parts of the bunkers were covered by sprinkler reach, so were muddy and unplayable. Like a lot of older golf clubs, the trees have become overgrown and are blocking out some fairway shots, so could use trimming. Overall a decent course, just needs some TLC.

Staff was very off-putting, with challenging exchanges, and asking us to let people play through, with 3 players and a rider - when we saw much worse players out on the course, and the marshalls did not move. Would play again, but service experience definitely allows for pause, especially given the price point.

Decent course but you can’t call the pro shop at all. It redirects you to a booking service based in a call center numerous time zones away.

Can’t book a 9 hole tee time online so you’re forced to call the booking service. Booking service says they can’t book a tee time online so they need to call the pro shop. Horrific circle ensues where you never get a tee time for 9

Please fix this!

In order to put in a review I actually read other reviews first… anyone that gives this course 4 or 5 stars does not have a clue about golf courses… I would have to agree with Ecki’s review, place is barely a 1 star rating.. place is not in good shape at all..should completely under go a complete overhaul tee to greens… and redo all greens while they are under overhaul! Sorry but this is an honest review

There is no hope for this golf course. No maintenance, no quality. Very sad experience.

Course was in good shape; especially the greens. Nice layout. Good pace of play. All around a great value.

Our front nine was a great pace, 1 hr 40 minutes. Back nine not so good. Got behind a young foursome that was very slow. No rangers on the course. 2 hr 30 minutes. Not good considering the course wasn’t that busy.

Bent tree has a nice layout without the worry of taking out any windows except on #18.

The course was quiet so completed the round in 3 hours.

The price was fair and in good condition.

I play Bent Tree year round so I have a good feel for seasonal course conditions. The fairways currently are over watered especially around the over seeded green side fairway areas. Any shot landing within 20 yards of many greens will plug deeply in the oversaturated ground so the only way to hit a green without plugging is vr carry distance only.. If you have to pitch or chip you will be doing so from soggy ground on most holes. In general, the course is over watered. The greens were running slower than usual and a bit shaggier than usua but were adequate. The tee grounds always need a little TLC at Bent Tree. Overall, the course is in average shape. Regardless, I like the layout except for the Par 3 15th hole. There were a fair number of hurricane downed trees but the course is making clear progress on their removal.. They have a chipping and pitching practice area but no driving range (just driving nets with free balls) to loosen up before the round. They have a nice practice putting green to . The course offers free iced water at the club house and there are water stations throughout the course. Pace of play was 4 hours and 10 minutes for our 4:-some.and waiting was required for groups ahead, in other words seasonal pace of play for a crowded golf course at this time of year. Staff is always cordial and friendly.. Bring your own GPS or range finder since new carts don't have them. The price to play is very good, again for this time of the season.
