Bent Tree Country Club

Booked as a single, first time playing here. To my surprise they didn’t pair me up with anybody, which is a mistake. Nobody lets you play through so you wait 15 minutes on every shot. Course should be marshaling this behavior but they don’t care.

A shame that the course allows it because greens were in decent condition. But poor management should prevent anybody from playing here.

Tee boxes continue to need some work... Would be great to see them start a rehabilitation program and start making progress

The course wasn't in bad shape overall BUT the bunkers had little to no sand. Come on guys this area is abundant with sand and you can't get decent sand for your bunkers???

In comparison to other local courses, this is a value.

Play this course in January and February, both times it was over five hours for a round. They do not have any Rangers to police the pace of play, and overall I don’t think the management really cares. The property is well maintained, management not so much.

We enjoyed our round. The course was in good condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming. we had some slow groups in front of us. As we were a two ball, slightly frustrating We are English, is it not a courtesy to let faster players behind thru in the US?

I played this course twice, once in January and once in February. Both times there, it was well over five hours to play 18 holes with a cart. They have no Ranger, and they have no interest in maintaining the speed of play. Much like a typical country club, the members do whatever they feel like doing regardless of anybody else around them who has paid to play. There are many places to play golf in Southwest Florida, and this is one you should avoid.

While this is a well-maintained landscape, the same cannot be said for the management.

Pace of play was very slow group in front took forever

Great layout, greens are normally very good but they were slow due to over watering of the greens. So much do that area around the greens, especially approach to the greens were sopping wet and ball would inbed. In fact, some parts of the fairways was sopping wet and the ball would inbed there too. Good to see they are maintaining the course but they could do a betterjob with the watering schedul. Great to see the new carts!.
