Bent Tree Country Club

Pace was good. Greens were average speed but they still had aeration holes and could have rolled truer. Fairways have very short grass with tight lies nearly everywhere. Some bare spots need grass on a few fairways. The holes on the greens are cut nicely and flush with the surrounding green, After Milton, all the sand traps need serious TLC and so do a number of tee areas. A nice course that just needs a few green keeping improvement s.

Considering the resent hurricane the course was in great shape. Unfortunately some nice big trees have come down. The sand traps had debris in them but that’s understandable. My only complaint was a the group in front us ( we were a twosome ) was agonizingly slow with zero etiquette or consideration. We leapfrogged them and went back and played the hole we missed. Ended up playing 18 in 3.5 hours.

Bent Tree is a tale of two now nines and both are very nice. The front side has mature oaks lining most fairways while the back nine is a more open, links-style course. The fairways are generally in good shape but they do still have some bare spots sprinkled throughout the front nine. The pace of play was excellent. The greens were shaggy and very slow.. with all the recent rain & storms much of the sand in bunkers has been compacted hard and some need to be replenished.. I like this course for its beauty and speed of play at an affordable price..

Hot Deal and Even Hotter Weather. Tee Boxes and Greens in excellent condition fairways wet or grass burned out in may places , but that is to be expected due to recent weather. The heat is tough to handle and even felt a little dizzy a few times. Drink 2+ liters of water always park in the shade and you can enjoy a nearly empty golf course to yourself.

One of the worst courses I’ve ever played in Florida. Fairways were in awful condition. Tee boxes haven’t been mowed in weeks. Greens sprayed with green spray paint. Bunkers like concrete. For $50USD don’t waste your money.

Absolute goat track.

This is my neighborhood course. I played the day after the hurricane came by. There was some branches here and there and a down tree but otherwise was in fine shape. I played mid-day and seemingly had the place to myself at that time. The guy in the pro shop and the beer cart lady were very friendly.
