Great place to play!

The course layout is great! I wish they could update and reopen the bar/restaurant. It is a great place before and after a round of golf.

Love the layout of the course - lots of fun. Lots of work to be done to get the course back in shape after hurricane. Still lots of down trees; no sand but mud in the sand traps, tee boxes need work. Beautiful day so we still had fun.

Course is in very good condition considering all of the beautiful large trees that were toppled during our 2 hurricanes this year. We will definitely play again very soon.

Would have been nice to know that we have to use cart path or rough getting to our ball

I wish it was better but, it’s close to home so we’ll spend money there…. Proshop staff was awkward… likely a result of leadership…

When I owned a home is Florida, this was my go-to course because it would close by . First time playing here since Helene and Milton hurricances hit the area. There is still a handful of down trees . Only the 17th fairway was bottlenecked with down trees on eachside of the fairway that made it a more difficult than normal hole. The greens are in great shape. The sand traps were hard and compacted but the Maintenance crew is forgiven as there are other priorities to address first. While it has not rained in a while and the course could have played under the "Scatter Rule" with the golf carts, today and I am sure for the next month or so, the cart play will be "Cart Path" and "Rough" only as they have done a massive over-seeding of the entire course to address wash-out from the storms.

After playing this course one time, I would not go back. The clubhouse and amenities have not been maintained and the course was in terrible condition. The tee boxes has more weeds than grass and the sand traps had as many weeds as sand.

The course is well layed out and has tons of potential if the grounds could be cared for properly.

The greens were in pretty good shape but the fairways need a lot of work The course had damage from the recent hurricane and it shows. But my biggest complaint is that I had been told by someone at Bent Tree that the bar/restaurant was open everyday from 10:00-3:00. But when we arrived we were told it was not open and hadn't been open in over a year, The course just doesn't seem to get better. It is certainly is not as nice as it was just a few years ago.

Being from Sarasota, you play all sorts of courses. Unfortunately, during "season" a course that cost you 35/round now costs you 70+/round so value is the play here... Bent Tree was in good condition for the price. Some hurricane damage yet to be cleaned up but that's to be expected. Greens were in good shape. Bunkers were not in shape at all however, we did see staff working on them so it's possible this is/was being addressed. Not busy at all so pace of play was great. Clubhouse wasn't open but they did have some tables available to sit at and finish the round at the 19th hole. Overall, would definitely play here again.
