Bent Tree Country Club

Course was and has been in very poor shape. It should be closed until it can be brought back up to playing shape.

I always enjoy playing Bent Tree. It is a well designed traditional tree-lined layout. The Club is managed by Doug Mochrie,PGA, former coach of Dottie Pepper (Mochrie) who had notable success on the LPGA tour and continues as a golf commentator. Bent Tree is also the course where Nancy Lopez won her first and last LPGA tournaments.

Although the tee boxes are a bit sparse of grass due to drought conditions, the fairway and greens are in generally good shape.

Still trees down from last hurricane, greens are ok and some tee boxes are very rough but overall good course. Very very slow pace.

I have played this course multiple times. Really enjoy it. It would be nice if they would invest some money in the cart pads as they are full of holes and bumpy. Otherwise great place to play.

Otherwise acceptable playing conditions for my foursome.

No grill a disappointment.

Overall, the course is in pretty good shape. The layout is great. There is some good challenge there. It’s a mature course. The greens are very good. It could use some love and attention through. The sand in the sand traps are terrible, The cart paths are not in great shape. trees need to be trimmed and they could beautify with some flowers and bark mulch.
