Bent Tree Country Club

After reading some reviews to the contrary, I found the course to be in good shape and well worth my green fees. Were there bare spots in the fairway? Yes, but only a few; overall the fairways were in good condition. Were the tees in good shape? There were some tee boxes that needed some work; others were in good shape. Were the greens in good shape? Yes and they putted true. Were the traps in good shape? The traps had been nicely raked, but the sand was thin and was a muddy sand. You could play out of the bunker but you'd enjoy your round more if you stayed out of them.

The front nine fairways, bunkers & tee boxes are terrible. The back nine fairways, Tee Boxes

& Greens are very nice. The bunkers on the entire course have no sand with hard pan to hit off out of bunkers. The greens on the entire course are in good condition. The back nine is worth playing but the front nine is awful!

Played the back nine for the first time and found the course in excellent condition. Greens and fairways were tremendous given the local drought. Golf cart staff were friendly and very helpful. Practice facility for driving is very limited but decent putting green. Course signage is acceptable however cart pathways are a bit confusing due to a course redesign years ago.

Very courteous staff on what Was a rather chilly and windy day. Course needs a little TLC.

We woke up not feeling well. Tried to change golf days by calling clubhouse in the morning. They insisted there was no way to reschedule us. We went to the course and again asked if we could play tomorrow, instead of today. The super unfriendly managers acted like they didn’t know how to work a computer and there hands were tied. We play all over the country and I’ve never been told no so many times. From the time you pull up, they start bossing their players around. before we teed off, they even told us where we had to park our cart & couldn’t leave until they told us to. They treat their guests like children. I expected the carts & course to be pristine considering the way they behaved but neither were very nice. Played many better courses in the area…skip this one!

Staff were excellent. Greens were excellent. Fairways were very good. Tees need a bit of work otherwise, a very good day at Bent Tree. We will be back !

We played Bent Tree today and the greens are pretty good. However the tee boxes we're mostly dirt and half the fairways we're in bad shape. The traps we're unplayable. If you can play this course for $50 do it otherwise spend your money elsewhere.

This was a nice course and a friendly staff. Got us out right on time. No GPS on carts...but got a reasonable price on TeeOff.
