Bent Tree Country Club

Course was in good shape and greens were fabulous. Played in less than 5 hours.

A well maintained course with interesting holes. Greens, Fairways and tee boxes were all in good condition. Enjoyed playing there, an excellent value..

Two weeks ago the greens were perfect and fast. Yesterday the greens speed was much slower. I like to play here because of the greens.

The greens at Bent Tree are in Great Shape. The rest of the course is good considering it’s winter but they should be commended on the greens. The traps are like hard packed sand

Played here two years ago and course seemed pretty run down. It is better now and greens are good. Like this course because of several interesting and somewhat challenging holes. We booked a tee time that allowed us to finish before dark but there was a huge line (lack of carts or too frequent tee times) so we had to wait almost an hour past the booked tee time so we didn't get to finish. Take that into consideration when booking. We did complain via email and am pleased that were given a full refund, so good on them for that consideration. I would play there again but would definitely go for an earlier tee time.

Played course twice in the last two weeks. Got off the first tee right on time. Course is in fine shape , although depending on your tee time, fairways can be wet in spots. Gas carts are somewhat dated but not a significant issue. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Depending on your choice of tee boxes, course can be either extremely challenging or a comfortable round with some challenging shots.

I’ve played many different courses in Florida and would rate Bent Tree as a good value for the money.

Called the exactly a week before and made and payed for tee times for 5. They only had 3 down on their tee sheet and wouldnt do anything to try to work the other 2 in. Really it felt like they didnt want us to be there. And to be fair after seeing the course i didnt want to be there. Most golf courses that ive been to (especially if im paying over $50) at least act like theyre happy youre there. Not here. These guys didnt give a crap about any guests. So we left without playing. The worst communication ive ever seen from a golf course. Like at least try

The course is in good condition. Greens are smooth

and put great.Fairways are well maintained, sand traps are a true hazard, unlike what the Pros play. The Staff are very helpful and friendly. The course Superintendent and his staff do a great job keeping the course in good shape. Great bang for your bucks. Also a good choice of tees , great place to play for Seniors or couples.

While on vacation, i always like to check out local golf courses and play where the locals play, and Bent Tree DID NOT DISAPPOINT. From the very beginning, pulling up to the bag drop, we were greeted with a smile by an older gentleman who took our bags and put them on our cart for us while he checked us in for our tee time, he also followed us out to our vehicle and walked back to the clubhouse, allowing us to drive up to the practice area.

The clubhouse was dated, but was nice nonetheless and the staff inside the well stocked and clean pro shop was eager and willing to help. I will say that the lack of coolers and only plastic bags was a tad strange, but not a deal breaker at all.

The practice area was small, but nice and had good views of the monstrous par 4 that awaits you immediately on the first tee. We were paired with two others, who were very nice.

The course was in great shape and considering how much rain they have gotten over the past couple of weeks had drained considerably well. Fairways were as firm as to be expected in February and the trees and rough are penalizing, but not excruciating. The course was challenging, but not difficult as long as you know where to hit the golf ball, which got me into trouble on a couple of the shorter par 4's going long off the tee. The greens rolled true and were of moderate speed, you just had to be below the hole and avoid short siding your self as some of the greens are turtle backed.

The only negative I have about this course is the pace of play, we had a 11:38 tee time, which was delayed about 20 minutes, and ended up getting done around 5, so pace of play here is a tad slow, solely due to the demographic and the amount of people on the golf course every day.

Overall, for a moderate price, you can play a very nice golf course, with great amenities and friendly people, just make sure you block out your entire day.

My only complaint is there were no carts. We were told they were running 5-10 mins behind. I was standing there 15 minutes before my tee time watching hole one with nobody on it because everyone was waiting for a cart. How can you run a golf course with not enough to go around. We got on the course a half hour late.
