Makani Golf Club

The location and layout of this Perry Dye course are amazing. The 17th and 18th holes are particularly memorable but the entire lay-out is first class. The only problem is the dry rock hard conditions of most of the fairways. The greens and tee boxes were OK but the fairways are very sub-standard for a course of this quality

Friendly staff, nice layout. Fun course to play. Exciting finishing holes!

Just loved the views. Greens were in great shape with tricky undulations. Fairways were were rock hard so the ball rolls forever. Signature hole #17 has an island green. Staff was very friendly. We will play again!

Paid $45 more than my buddies because they had a card and I didn't. Out of customer service, you would think they would make an exception.

Excellent layout with good greens (although very slow), and friendly staff. Tee boxes were bad and fairways only ok. Must play at least once for the views and layout. A little pricey for the course conditions

We had a great day playing golf. When we checked in they told us there was no cart service - offered ice and good priced refreshments! Jim - the starter - is fantastic and always makes the game fun!

100% better corse conditions than when we played it 5 years ago. Pleasant surprise

Great layout. Greens were slow and the pace of play was horrible. No Marshall or Staff to assist with groups falling behind.

Beautiful course and magnificent views. Staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Greens best I’ve ever seen there. Only issue was horrendous group in front of us. One of my favorite places with the wildlife and beautiful trees and flowers

Great layout, many challenging holes with water and elevation changes.

No one controlling pace of play. A 5+ hour round on a Saturday afternoon. Waiting on every shot. Often 2 groups on the tee.

This course has tremendous potential.

Golf at 2500’ was a beautiful cool afternoon. Course is not real manicured, greens are good. 17 and 18 are round killers. Best course for the value on the island. The scenery is what is really special about this course.
