Great layout, many challenging holes with water and elevation changes.

Beautiful greens. Poor tee boxes and thin fairways.

No one controlling pace of play. A 5+ hour round on a Saturday afternoon. Waiting on every shot. Often 2 groups on the tee.

Have played many times during the week with no problems.

This course has tremendous potential.

Golf at 2500’ was a beautiful cool afternoon. Course is not real manicured, greens are good. 17 and 18 are round killers. Best course for the value on the island. The scenery is what is really special about this course.

Fun course to play. First time here, and used their rental clubs. The challenging layout of the course was nice. I will play this course again.

They have done lots of upgrading. Very enjoyable layout. Only negative is the poor tee box conditions. One box looked like it was recently leveled and resoded. Hopefully rest will get done. Worth the drive though if you are staying down at Kona Coast. Cooler at this higher elevation which was refreshing. Been going there for 20 years and will continue to do so.

The course is quite nice and in good condition. A fair amount of water, plus a Par 3 with an island green. Fairly good value for Hawaii prices. But was very slow. Sometimes 2-3 groups stacked up on a tee box. Maybe best to avoid this course on weekends.

The course was good for a muni. The front could use a little clean up (rough and fairways). But the closing holes were really good and pretty. I’d play again cause my resort golf costs are 2x!

This is a gorgeous golf course, up on high elevation with a view on the ocean. It has many beautiful holes with ocean view on the horizon. There are quite a number of challenging holes. The best is saved for the return, the 17th is the signature hole with an island green. The 18th is also reserved for a good 2nd shot crossing the water onto the green. This is a very enjoyable course for the price. The practice area is also good for your warm up.

First off when the starter sends people who are late to the first tee when you are about to tee off. Should be a huge clue to what’s about to occur.

Other than the greens the fairway’s were very disappointing.

Final two signature holes are interesting.
