Great track in awful condition
Played Makani in April. It was in rough shape but still playable. Conditions have declined considerably. Not sure I would recommend until ownership spends some money to improve the course conditions.

Fun course
Fun course up on the hillside between Kona and Waikoloa. The course is short but cut out of the mountain side brush so requires accuracy. Rather unforgiving. Greens were tricky for me. I had a hard time reading them. Very slow but also receptive.
The staff - starter and pro shop staff person- were just awesome! So accommodating.
It’s not a fancy place, but I had a great outing!

I love this course. I play it every time I come to Hawaii. The course was not maintained this year as well as it has been and the golf carts really need to be replaced..
