Wow! Fantastic design and breathtaking views

The course is in a little rough shape but the layout is one of the best designs I have ever experienced. Start to finish. I have played most of the courses on the Big Island. Manaki is by far the best designed course on the island. It is a 25 minute drive from most resorts, but well worth it. If you like a challenge and jaw-dropping views on nearly every hole you need to play this course.

#17 island green & #18 approach shot green

I believe the best two last holes I have ever played #17 & #18. I've been told makani's management has been working on improving the course. Thank you, I enjoyed my round and will be returning.

Hole #18 kind of reminded me of #18 at the Ko`olau course in Oahu. Please someone buy that land and restore the golf course. How about it Makani's golf management team ?

Wonderful time

My round was most enjoyable because of the couple we were put with. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, especially smarter Jim and the young lady behind the counter. My score wasn't because of the course it may have been 4 months off with no practice. Suggestions, don't go off the fairway and I "saw" more break than there was on putts.
