Course renovation: Misty Creek Country Club underwent a comprehensive golf course renovation, which included re-grassing all areas, rebuilding bunkers, upgrading the driving range, and installing a new irrigation system. The course was temporarily closed for these improvements and reopened to the public in November 2025.

Very nice place to play
Very good condition of the course. Love the scenic views. Greens healthy and receptive despite being in a dry spell. Can’t figure out why such a nice course was so empty. 18 in 3.25 hours.

Misty Creek Review
Course is tight and somewhat unique for FL as there are not homes running next to fairways on most of the course. Course is tight with lot of trees and hazards. Greens are relatively small. Course had a great deal of hurricane damage this year and therefore roughs and cart paths were really rough and nearly un-drivable in many places. Staff was very friendly and it played well for our group in 4 hours.

Scenic & Challenging course
Misty Creek is one of the most scenic courses in the LWR area. It's a tough course for higher handicappers due to narrow fairways, but hit 'em straight and you are rewarded with fairways that are in fine condition. Greens were also in good shape, reasonably fast and consistent, with some difficult breaks. I like that each hole presents a unique layout and challenge, but as a first time player, I wish the cart had GPS for helping to select the right club and strategy, especially on blind shots. I would say this is not a course for the timid, but a great course for requiring you to use all facets of your game. The TeeOff app made this course reasonably priced and I look forward to playing again.
