Harvey Penick Golf Campus

An awesome 9 hole course with very nice greens and fairways. 6 par 3’s and 3 par 4’s make up the 9 hole course. Some greens are sloped for a good challenge. The creek, bunkers, and trees make it very strategic on where you want to place your ball. I played this on May 13th after a couple rainy days and it was very green and fun!

I did rent a cart but it’s easily walkable. With a cart I played all nine in about little over a hour. There’s also a very nice practice range, chipping range, and putting green. They also have a short 3 hole par 3 walkable hole if you aren’t wanting to play all 9 or 18 and just want to come out and practice.

The staff was super friendly and nice! They said this place has come a long way, and it’s non-profit. Well maintained and really recommend for a fun little round!

Most of the holes are nice, but a few of the par 3s are just really low effort. Especially the 9th.

I would go again, but I would walk it for 20$ instead. The cart is really not necessary on this course.

Muni level course with beautiful tree lined fairways. A creek comes into play on several holes. Fast track to play on the cold day we played.

Course was a typical muni 9 hole course except it had a great feel to it. It had hills surrounding a creek that ran across it and came into play on several of the holes. This time of the year the grass was dormant and the trees were leafless. There were many large old pecan and walnut trees lining the fairways.

Hogs or some animals have tore up many of the fairways. Fairway locations are not clearly marked.Trails for golf carts are muddy yet fairways are hard. This is a low budget course for walkers.

really fun, great staff, just some pretty beat up areas on/around greens and fairways are pretty much hardpack dirt in most spots it's seems. course conditions does not affect the fun...just move your ball to a grassy spot.
