Went down hill
I've played this course when I was in middle school and it was fair. Now I just payed 25 dollars to play 3 decent greens and T off out of a sand box. Definitely a 10 dollar course but I take it they have to pay for the new gas golf carts. Best part about it was the carts and the fairways are rubbish so it felt like we were go carting off road.
Great value
We enjoyed playing the course today. You can't beat the price we got on Golf Now! The staff was friendly and helpful. There weren't many people there, so we didn't feel rushed or pushed, and finished 18 holes in 4 hours, including a short break at the turn. The carts were clean and looked pretty new. Some areas of the course and a couple of greens were dry and Sandy, and none of the greens are velvet smooth, but we're duffers, just or to have a good time, and we did.
new carts
brand new carts!
course in pretty good shape
should be even better when double seeded
Marginal
Tee boxes are bumpy and sparse grass, fairways are thin and some greens are mostly sand..
Terrible
Course was is terrible condition. Not only did we come up to a group of 6 slow golfers we came up to a group of 7 golfers as well. Poor planning, poor condition and poor experience. Won’t be back.
Blah
Worse fairways, worst greens I have ever seen or played on. Also the worst tboxes
Cheating
I had 3 certificates. I was told I was only entitled to two carts. I said each certificate comes with a cart. He said if I wanted a 3rd car, I had to pay $10.00. I was with 2 friends and did not want to cause a scene. I paid the $10. I got cheated.
It’s Oak Hill
This course hasn’t been in great shape in years and it’s a shame because the layout is good.
From the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens, you just don’t seem to be rewarded with good shots.
Just not worth the frustration for 25.00
Needs work
Roads into the pro shop and cart paths need a lot o& work. Fairways and greens have improved since our last visit. Notable is that the sand traps were readily playable versus other local courses.
Sunday golf
Had an 1130 tee time. Got there a little early. They regripped my putter for me without hesitation. Still was able to tee off at 1120a, played 18 holes, playing through on a very nice threesome learning to golf. Still only took 2 hrs. without pushing it. Very enjoyable.
rough course
no grass mostly weeds the greens are very rough and very dippy with many weeds growing in with the grass
Have fun during the virus
This course is excellent to get out of the house & play a round of golf. Played 18 today in 2 hrs & 30 min. That is outstanding. Areas are rough but what do you expect in the middle of august at the price they charge. It is a deal. If your expecting a pro course, go elsewhere. If you want to golf & enjoy, definitely go here.
Cow Pasture
I can tell this course has good bones but it’s the worst course I’ve ever played. It’s a cow pasture and if you miss the fairway(If youI can call it that) good luck finding your ball. Greens are a joke and dog poop in the fairway on 3 holes. I will say I loved the gas carts.
Could have been nice..
First off, I understand Covid. That being said the course was in terrible condition. The greens were awful. Not sure if this is the “norm” for this course or not. Seemed to be a lot of “regulars” playing at lightning speed. We were not slow at all and got “hit up” on more than once. Not inclined to go back.
