Good course for a practice round
Course overall is in average condition. Greens decent, tees and fairways are mixed between dry and brown and some grass. OK value at $30. Pace of play was excellent. Friendly staff. No amenities.
It is run down
The course was the least expensive, but still over priced. The course is very bad, actually the fairway is bad the greens are ok.
I might play there again if I want a cheaper round. But would never bring any out of state friends or business aquantences.
As soon as I rolled in I saw the broken planter with the sign hanging down. The road is a disaster, pot holes with sections of yhe pavement gone. You can see were people road of to the side to avoid damage to there vehicles.
Not my 5th choice...
not worth the price
My first & last time playing this course. I would not play there for FREE. the course layout is really nice. If only they had grass on the fairways & tee boxes. the fairways were like riding on a roller coaster. save your $$$$ for a nice golf course.
Value
The layout is fantastic and they have done alot with the greens. The sand traps have gotten very consistent. The downside of the course is the tee boxes and the sparse fairways. The other negative is that there aren't any amenities. However the staff is always very pleasant and make you feel comfortable
Oak Hill
Fairways are rougher, dry, with little grass for the front 9. The back nine is a little better. Greens are in good condition and play consistently slower upon first put attempt. Still clean up in process from previous storms. Accessibility and price point with shape of greens make it a bargain to tune up your game. You may want to club up in the fairways due to the sand base..
