Improvement.
Positives.
Great carts, great layout, decent greens.
Pace of play is nice due to no golfers on course.
Negatives.
Tried to charge a premium over Golf now established pricing.
Fairways are all in horrible shape.
If it wasn't like hitting out of a sand trap from the middle of the fairway it would've been enjoyable.
I'll revisit in the spring in hopes of some growth.
Value
I used the tee app and paid 20 bucks , the fairways are in pretty bad shape and it is a shame because the length is good the layout is great and greens were good and fast . Would be a great course if there was some investment in the fairways. There is no food or drinks there so BYOB and snacks , but a good value and I would play it again for sure.
Rough at best!
Course needs attention. Rough in all aspects. Need a chiropractic adjustment afterwards. The back nine is in better shape than the front. If you pay more than $20 to play here, then that's too much. Probably will be taking this course off the rotation. Definitely needs attention, but has potential to be great. I don't think it will ever happen.
Fare ways and greens need help
Lots of sandy areas in the fare ways . Green have three or four different sort of grass all over.
Course
Quite possibly the best shape the courses ever been in since we've ever played there
Better than what the reviews saw
Not sure why this course is rated so poor. Not many people play here, so you get to take your time on the course and enjoy your time. Each hole is pretty long so it's good for your driver game. The course conditions were pretty good too, there may have been a few sand patches but overall it was very good. The only poor thing about this place is that they don't have drinks to purchase, but besides that this place is very good!
After a layoff, not bad.
Came up from Pinellas after.a.3 yr. layoff and we were pleasantly surprised. Have always loved the layout, plenty long enough, grass in fairways, not Bermuda but enough of whatever to compress your ball , greens were consistent, putts rolled pretty true with speed , Tee boxes were fine on most holes , driving range was nice, experience much much better than last time. Always been a fun course, the ride from tee to green is a little bumpy in spots but all in all nice round considering what other courses in area are charging for not much better conditions.
Bring your own beverages, nothing sold on course. Employee that runs everything very friendly, if it wasn't so far I would play it once a week. The price makes up for the drive.
For a Florida course the greens were good. The fairways were very average. Course layout was good. For $20 I was very happy and will defiantly do it again.
First time playing in a few years mainly because of poor reviews. The coarse was in good shape even after a hurricane. Greens, tees, and fairways were all in decent shape. Were they perfect no but at a reasonable price it is a challenging coarse that was fun to play.
