Swenson Park Golf Course - The Oak Course

What an improvement! The fairways were in the best shape I have ever seen this course. The greens were exceptional! It made for a great outing. Someone has really gotten serious about upkeep...Keep up the great work.

Don't let the Stockton major close down Swenson. Tell him to find something else to do like fix the Homeless problem.

Nice muni in good condition. Lots of huge oaks.

Great course and layout. Woman's tees need less yardage and more advantage as the course is long enough ant women's tees are to close to the men's.

Course was in good shape for the amount of rain over the last week staff was very helpful price was excellent will be back

Does play a little long for both men and women, but is a beautiful course to play.

We enjoy the proximity and the great deals we get there.

If the course needs to charge more to stay open do so please, there is no other course in the are like it. Most are full of bunkers which inhibit play.

I play Swenson often and have played other munis like Spanos, Van Buskirk and Elkhorn. I am an ex member of SGCC and have played at Brookside. Swenson is a great track that is in very good condition. Fades, draws, long par 4's, tough par 3's require thought and execution. Staff is outstanding. Chipping and putting areas are great for practice. The only course improvements would be better grass through the entire range and more yardage markers and fix the water fountains.

Rumor has it that Swenson will be closing. If true this would be devastating to many golfers.

The early tee time were delayed due to frost. our 7:52 am tee time started at 8:45. The course was muddy and wet, I guess due to frost or watered the grass to defrost. I would not mind if they should just cancelled our game and not play rushed and soak in mud for what's it worth.

very playable, open, lots of trees for shade when it's hot.

Course conditions were very good but greens are still recovering from aeration. A bit sandy but ball rolls true and good speed. Fairways in great condition but difficult to replace debits, wish the course would provide sand to fill them rather than trying to repair from pieces of turf. I'm very satisfied with the course my opinions are just comments on how to keep the course in great shape.

Went out early 8:04 tee time, teed off at 7:45. Played 18 as a twosome in 3 hrs 15 mins taking our time. The course was under repair rendering the tee boxes unavailable but that didn't keep us from enjoying ourselves. Even spotted a fox roaming around, pretty cool. Overall the course was good, the greens fast and the round alot of fun.

This course was great for me because my goal was just to play golf. The staff is friendly and the course is welcoming. It is not a place to take people for entertainment its strictly a play to play golf no matter the skill level.

This old course is in such good shape. It seems to get better all the time. One green had some damage but the Grounds crew was right on it to repair. it was small amount and was away from the hole placement. Just always enjoy this great old course.

Well laid out. Clean carts and bathrooms on the course. Good rates. Great food
