This course is not that difficult but,I always struggle
Great golf course..it always gets me
Cannot break 80
It’s challenging for a short knocker like me
course is looking good
the course was in as good of shape as ive seen in years!!!
No drinks or food
We really enjoy this golf course, but for some reason, when we played yesterday, the grill was not only closed, but all the water fountains out on the course were shut off. You couldn’t find a bottle of water anywhere. Wake up management, what are you thinking
First time at Sandpiper
This is the first time I played Sandpiper. They have 3 9 hole courses. We played Palms and Oaks. They are very different. The Palms had bigger greens than the Oaks. Oaks was more like a Scottish links course that had postage stamp like greens. Better have a good short game for the Oaks. As a whole the courses were short and wide open so it made for a fun around. The course was in good shape, the sand traps need some work (believe me I was in a lot of them), the staff was nice and the pace of play was quick. A threesome let us play thru. We caught up with next 3 some rather quickly. But we still played 18 in under 31/2 hours. Place was packed but pace of play was great. Nice range and putting area.
Great course
This is a great course for the money. Challenging layout and greens. We will definitely be back
Trash
Paid for a foursome to play a Sunday at 10:30 am. Showed up and was asked if “all 4 players were coming” when I said yes I was told “well you might be lucky if we have carts left.”
Then, starter told us that the “lakes course is wide open so start there” and we rolled up 3 foursomes in front of us and had to wait.
Later, we went to the palms course where three groups behind us playing their own “scramble” we’re teeing off from the black tees (in front of red) and 9 people ended up playing one hole behind us yelling at us that we were in their way
Don’t play here. Ever.
Great conditions
Course was in great condition. Fairways were great along with greens. Pace of play was good. There weren’t enough carts to go around so we were about 15 minutes behind our tee time. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if the starter wasn’t so unprofessional. Not usually one to write reviews but this guy was seriously not a nice guy.
Nice greens
An enjoyable tract and good value for this time of year..
