Steel Canyon is a fun, but challenging, 18-hole, par-61 executive golf course, centrally located in Sandy Springs. Steel Canyon also offers a lighted practice facility with the new TopTracer range system by TopGolf which allows you to track your distances, play virtual courses, and play games against your friends! Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and a quick round on our Champion Bermuda Greens without taking all day!

Good time for what it is
Fun course to play. Interesting topography. Set expectations appropriately, it’s a humble course. People are very friendly and for a casual round with friends it’s great.
Needs Some Work
This course could be really nice if they put some work into it. Some of the tee boes were so bad they had mats out there as a tee box. Staff was nice, starter was very cool. Just needs a bit of work, overall not the worst
Review of steel canyon
My past experiences last year at Steel Canyon were playable but this time was horrible. I(14 Male) was playing with my brother(17 Male) and we had a horrible time. The starter did not give us a cart because we are not old enough. Apparently my brother can drive a car on the highway but not a golf cart on a crappy public course. I will never play the Steel Canyon golf course again
Bang for your Buck
The course has been working it’s way back and the greens early in the season are showing a big improvement from last season. Got out at 8:30am and was done with all 18 by 12:15 for a short course decent pace of play. BBQ on the turn on the weekends was good as always.
Easy after work 18
This is great executive style coarse with a few chances to break out the driver. There are some challenging holes , some long par 3’s and lots of elevation changes. The staff is super kind and engaging.
Didn’t even play.
20 minutes late on the first tee. Terrible. Par 61 that would have been a 5 hour round.
Great fairways, putter not needed
Great staff, very helpful, fairways in great shape, greens not so much. I did’n even bother putting after the first couple of holes. Good course to get a quick round in and work on certain aspects of your game since course is usually pretty empty. Good value for money if under $30.
Greens were horrible
The greens were horrible and they were at the point of none playable. Some kind of fungus has taken over and now they will have to resurface the the back 9 . Tee boxes needs some attention as well. I will never know if they make changes will never go back.
