Very Nice
Excellent course layout. Demanding but fair. This is not a walking course, must ride due to length between some greens and next tee.
Hidden gem
It's a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip. Greens rolled true and fairways were well taken care of. It's a long and challenging course and makes you have to score when given the chance. Play it when you can
First time at Beaufort
Wonderful course to play. Went by previous reviews to pick a course to play and was not disappointed. Four of us drove 11/2 hours to play and was well pleased with court. Course in excellent shape and look forward to playing again because of not knowing exactly where to place shots and watch out for little ponds behind hills.
Not a walking course. Otherwise not bad
Course was in good condition. At check in I asked if I could walk the course. The person gave the literal answer “yes”. But practically it is a challenging course for walking. I think that the distance from 8 green to 9 tee box was several hundred yards if you followed the path. If you try to cut the distance you need to cross two drainage ditches which did not seem safe. It would be so much better if they constructed a couple foot bridges. There were a few other long stretches from green to next tee.

Lucked out and played this course while we were in town...beautiful course and clubhouse. Staff friendly and food was great
Enjoyed it
For the amount of rain that the course received the night before I was impressed with how it handled. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Putts rolled true, and we didn’t have any plugged balls. Rain or shine this place is ready. Since I normally play in tree-lined mountain courses, this was a welcome change to a more open, windier test.
Fun course to play in good condition
First time playing this course and it was very enjoyable. Course was in great condition from tee to green with the exception of the bunkers, which they are reworking. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.
decent course for $
Overall a good experience. Would recommend the club have a course map on card or in carts. Quite a few holes with hidden water....
Great Course
Beautiful course in great shape with h challenging pin placement
Challenging layout
Course is in good shape except for the bunkers which are currently being renovated. Layout is one of the best around. Very challenging when the wind is blowing and that's often here. Lots of deep fairway bunkers and water hazards. Bentgrass greens are smooth. Highly recommend it.
The course is improved
We have played here for years and always loved the course design. It has had its ups and downs with maintenance but it is in great condition now. Loved it. We will go back. Highly recommend.

They are not able to put a bridge in between the ditch because the grass road in the middle is not the golf course property.
