Awesome layout and beautiful greens! The bunkers can be a little tricky so just stay out of them.

Played in very windy conditions. Only had time to play front nine. Very nice course with challenging approach shots to most holes. I normally walk, but took cart since green to next tee distances are large. Pro shop staff were very friendly. Grill staff also friendly and excellent; great lunch too.

I come down to Emerald Isle, NC for vacation every year and the past several years the courses locally have taken a turn for the worse. Between neglect and hurricanes there aren’t any good tracks worth spending money on in my opinion. I’m a golf addict and need to play at least 2 or 3 times on vacation. I decided this year to try to find a course worth playing in the surrounding areas. I read up on Beaufort Club and even though it was 35 minutes away from where I was staying in Emerald Isle, after playing one round it was definitely worth the drive. This will be my go to course when I come down to Emerald Isle every year. I enjoy a difficult course with unique holes and Beaufort Club doesn’t disappoint. An added surprise was the free range balls to get warmed up before the round. There isn’t really anything special as far as a restaurant or great food or beverage to grab at the turn or after the round but the course makes up for that. The 18th hole is a gem!

Was a very nice course in good condition. Was very impressed with the back 9 it had a ton of character! Would definitely recommend the course. Be prepared to play in some wind the course is flat but very windy and we played on a day when the surrounding areas were not windy! Enjoy!!

My 2nd visit here confirmed, this is just a windy location. I'm not long off the tee, 220ish, but into 30 mph on 396 par 4's, trying to reach was very costly. The links style mounds quickly ate up my errant shots. Shaved 11 strokes on the back 9. Sand traps still stressed after storm damage, more like waste bunkers. Greens & Fairways VG, roughs, a different story. Maybe one day I'll get to play with only 15 mph!

Nice course. Good test of golf. Lots of water and sand. I played when it was windy and it was real tough, but fair. Covers a lot of acres.

Beaufort Club has the best driving range in Carteret County and range balls are unlimited and included with your round of golf. A nice bonus feature here for sure. One certainly needs to make sure their swing is intact at the range before heading to the 1st tee because the course is possibly the most difficult in the area as well. Several sets of tees to choose from but if you think your good like me you’ll tip it out and face forced carries all day long and test every club in your bag on a gorgeous but penalizing course that is almost guaranteed to be windy!

Reminded me of many beautiful courses I have played in Myrtle Beach. Pleasantly surprised as to how much they had cleaned up after Hurricane Florence!

Course was in EXCELLENT condition, even after just having a cat2 hurricane blow thru 2 weeks prior. Thank you Joe!

Have played this course several times but this was the first time in a few years. Their new clubhouse is impressive and finally matches the quality of the course. This course is truly a hidden gem and is one of my favorite courses to play for the money in NC. By far the best course I have played in the SOBX. Pricier then the other courses in the area but the quality and layout is worth the $55. Clubhouse attendants could be friendlier but that’s the only complaint I have of the course, get some better help at the front and this would be a 5 star review! Beautiful course and is always in good shape when I visit!

My husband and I play a lot of golf and many courses. This course was nice and open. As a female I found it somewhat long and I did not score as well as I would like to have. The greens were beautifully maintained but a little slow. Lots of water creating Beauty and challenges. My only complaint bathroom on the back nine was not functioning making it a little uncomfortable for the last few holes. Finally did run into a porta John on the 17th hole. Clubhouse is beautiful and well-designed. Loved the golf carts I thought they were some of the most beautiful I had seen and the staff kept them in Immaculate condition

As always, I had a very enjoyable experience at The Beaufort Club. I played two rounds in under 6 hours; pace of play is great. The layout of this course is interesting, always challenging, but fair. The only thing they need to do is let the rough grow a little more and cut and roll the greens tighter...they always roll too slow.

Course was very nice but traveling from hole to hole was difficult. Need to improve signage and directions to next hole. Map of course on score card would be nice

Played a most enjoyable round with a couple buddies. Course was busy but not slow at all. We allowed a single to play through but were never pushed to slowed down. Fairways were great and greens rolled true.

Great layout that even from the whites ~6400 yards, you can hit drivers. Some courses in the area are too short and tight, not this course. Still a challenge with fairway bunkers, bodies of water and greenside bunkers. Tees, fairways and greens in superb condition and we played in 3 1/2 hours teeing off at 8am..
