The course is improved
We have played here for years and always loved the course design. It has had its ups and downs with maintenance but it is in great condition now. Loved it. We will go back. Highly recommend.
Tough but Fun
I enjoy playing this course. A bit pricey if you don’t get a hot deal. Course is in decent shape but there were some bare areas and it looked like they were in the process of removing several bunkers. Greens were in pretty good shape, not too fast but not slow either.
This COVID thing is really out of hand. They won’t serve you if you don’t have a mask. I can’t wear a mask because I hyperventilate. The only good thing about that is my brother in law bought the drinks.
Love the Course
Used GolfNow and got the hot deal. Course looks great, greens were in very good shape.
Great value
Our favorite course when vacationing in this area. Great layout, very fun design. This trip bunkers were all unplayable - either washed out or being renovated. Large range with balls included in greens fee. Plenty of water hazards but generous landing areas off the tee. Great mix of long & short par 4’s. Look forward to returning to Beaufort Club!
Great Experience!
This was an excellent course. The clubhouse, range, course, staff...just outstanding! Enjoyed my round and even re-played the course upon completion. It was that good. Next time I come back...I will only play this course.
Solid Beach Day
I think this course is a great value at $30, not sure I'd go higher. They have free range balls super plus.
Great value
Just wanted to play while at the beach. This place was a great value. It was a little wet when we played but it seemed to drain well. Very flat course, wind affects a lot of shots. Greens were rolling well.
Beauford Clb
The course was wet buy very playable. The traps were washed out but the greens were exceptional. The wind is a factor so be prepared.. I'll be back,,,
Fantastic
Bunkers need some work and greens were a little bit slow, but this is one of the most enjoyable courses I’ve ever played. Very fair setup with various sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. The layout was superb and the course was very open. My biggest disappointment was not playing well. I can’t wait to come back and redeem myself.
Beautiful peaceful
This was a very long course but of course my husband being a senior and me being female had tees for everyone to play. The fairways were smooth beautiful well kept as well as the cart path was so nice. My husband really loved the layout of the course. Only negatives were the bunkers were sometimes filled with water and the greens were slower than we were accustomed to. I think the carts were maintained and cleaned exceptionally well. It is a beautiful clubhouse, but they were experiencing kitchen exhaust fan issues and did not have any food service that day. The course is just outside of Beaufort North Carolina and it is convenient and wonderful in not hearing interstate and road noise. The quiet was exceptional.
This course had a great layout but offers the challenge of some type of water hazard on nearly every hole, some of which were blind. If I played it a second time with the knowledge I know now they wont be much of a problem. Staff was friendly and the course was in fantastic condition. Greens are very slow, but true on breaks. Very enjoyable experience. Walking isn't an option unless you want to walk a marathon in your round as holes are very spread out between one another.
Solid
Great Golf course. Beautiful layout, fun holes, great pace of play... only downside this time was there greens while in great condition were very very wooly. Slow... which wasn’t the best. Other than that great time.
Layout has potential
It was my first time playing Beaufort Club today. This is a 2006 Bob Moore residential layout with a fair amount of distance between holes winding through the neighborhood. The course was built in the early 2000s and and it feels like it was impacted by the recession because most of the lots have still gone undeveloped.
The bones of the course were good, but it feels like a course in transition. The greens were top-dressed, but were the best part of the course. I suspect they can get really fast and interesting. The bunkering and waste areas are fairly extreme in poor shape.
I use ‘transition’ because there are some elements of the course that appear to be under renovation like the clubhouse that show potential. Overall, we had a nice day and look forward to exploring other courses in the area.
The course was in good condition fairways and greens. The sand trap could use some attention.
Overall I enjoyed the course.
