Fair
Good fun course. Very long with 3 par 5 on the back nine. Green are less than average, need work.
Timberlake - Fun Layout
Timberlake's an interesting and extremely fun layout for the flat topography is was built on. Plenty of suttle rises, drops, and curvature to the course that gives it character. Fairways could of been a little tighter though overall were fine, but the rough is the perfect height! Easy to find your ball in, and any level golfer will have to manipulate their shot a bit to hit a good approach or chip from it. Wish the greens could of been a little faster, but other than that Timberlake is a great stop!!!
Always enjoy playing here
While challenging because of the blind tee shots, the course and greens are always in good shape.
Great course...very challenging
It would be more enjoyable if the first cut of rough was longer and so many balls didn't roll off into deep brush which is almost impossible to play out of if you can even find your ball. i lose more balls here by far than any other courses I play.
Disappointed
Where were the water hazards? The course was very very dry! I played at 0900 and expected the sprinkler’s to be on…no such luck! If so, I would at least come back because it’s still early in the season, even for NC.
Busy & Buggy
Very busy day, course was good, Bugs abundant on front nine. Play slowed on back nine.
Course layout was fun (tighter on the front nine and a little more open on the back) - 5 par 5's and 6 par 3's. Still winter conditions, so fairways and rough were a bit sparse, but playable, and the greens were in good shape. Course was pretty steady/busy, but I was able to play through a few groups and finished in under 4 hours. A very good value with a HotDeal and the staff was very friendly.
