1936 original layout of the Capital City Country Club. Notice the old clubhouse and how the holes were numbered originally. Photo submitted by JayRevell on 09/12/2018

Best course in Tallahassee
A great golf course for players at every level. Challenging course layout with each hole having unique features. The greens are in perfect shape right now. It's pure fun to play Cap. City.
A great place to play
Challenging layout, tough greens. Well kept course. Fun place to play. Best in Tallahassee right now.
Great course
It is definitely an older course, but I enjoyed it especially with the hard to read greens. I will be back when I am back in town.
Love the course
This is a great course when you are in Tallahassee. Lots of undulations on the greens. Second time playing this course and enjoyed playing this course. I will be back.
Was very disappointed that the front 9 was closed, had to play the back twice, had I known that I would not have played that course today .
Good course layout/ Excellent greens
A good course layout with a variety of holes and elevation changes. Not one of those courses where many of the holes seem the same. Greens were in excellent shape with good speed. However, the fairways & rough were not up to the standards you would expect for a Country Club & the standard green fee charged.
Great Deal
The course is in great shape for winter. Excellent deal.
Great value
Lots of elevation change, a little short in length but still challenging
Historic Course in Classic Setting
This was the the fist course in Tallahassee - founded in 1908. Course itself is surrounded by Spanish moss covered Live Oaks. It stays a bit cooler in the summer thanks to this. The greens are smooth and run fast and true. I love playing here even when having a bad round.
Great Tallahassee Golf
Not a long course by any stretch, I usually play from the ‘senior tees’ at many courses but was easily able to play from the tips here. Greens rolled very true and were in great condition. Par 3s are quite a bit tougher from the tips, had to use a fairway wood on 2/4 and a long iron on a 3rd. Will absolutely be back here to play again.
Favorite course in the City of Tallahassee open to the public.
Beautiful, Fun, Diverse Course
This course has an incredible layout with the usage of the elevation leading to some really unique holes especially for the state of florida. The only downside would be the prices are a bit steep although the course is kept up and unique enough (although it still could be a littlee cheaper). Great wildlife too, I usually see a few hawks every time I play here. It's also really difficult, especially with some of the sand and the steep greens although this is what makes it fun. 9/10
