1936 original layout of the Capital City Country Club. Notice the old clubhouse and how the holes were numbered originally. Photo submitted by JayRevell on 09/12/2018

Capital City CC Beautiful
Capital City CC is one of the oldest courses in Florida at over 100 years old and it is in the best shape I've ever seen. Love playing this course with its rolling hills and odd turns. It will challenge you without killing you.
Best Course in Tallahassee Area
Favorite course in the area. Always in great shape. Never too busy early on a weekday. Old course with lots of character.
Better Course than I Originally Imagined
In my opinion, great course layout with Tallahassee's rolling hills. Fast Greens and firm fairways were in perfect condition for my morning play. Would definitely play course again with a TeeOff.com discounted reservation.
beautiful course
course was great, beautiful trees and layout. very forgiving fairways. They were working on the greens on the day I played so that part only was not good this day. ( greens had been punched within a week) I will be back in a week or 2 to see how the greens came out, and improve my score hopefully :)
Classic
Fun track with plenty of scoring opportunities. You can get around this 6500 yard course without having to hit driver off every tee. The layout favors a left to right shot shape. The greens can be tricky. Stay below the hole with your approach on #1 and #2. #13 is a drivable par 4 which makes for the rare look at an Eagle two. Make sure to stop at the turn and grab a cocktail from Stone ( he makes a great vodka soda). Book your tee time today, you won’t regret it.
Fun relaxing morning golf
We had an incredible time as a threesome playing at capital city country club today. Arrived, got on the course, and made it around 18 holes very smoothly. Greens were punched but they use the small holes and it really didn’t negatively affect my putting. Course workers our on course very courteous and aware of players. It is an enjoyable laid back atmosphere.
Great Time
Played Capital City yesterday morning. Staff was great! Course was very good overall. Greens were smooth. Love the elevation changes. Highly recommended!
Hard to believe this is Florida golf. A lot of elevation change on this Tillinghast track. Old school designed holes. Narrow in spots. Not long. Back tees measure only 6,500 yards. Greens were not great. Some bare patches and bumpy. Par 5s are gettable.
Great old school course
What a gem. Rolling hills. No houses on the course. Beautiful oaks. Just awesome
