Excellent experience. Super clubhouse and shop. Clean, tidy locker room and a well stocked shop. Staff member was very friendly. I teed off at 8am on a Tuesday as a single, so zero issues with pace of play. Course was in excellent condition: fairways, bunkers and greens were very well maintained. Greens were excellent and tricky. Rough not too punishing. It’s a challenge for all levels of golfer. I liked that it’s a predominantly a loop and very little tracking back. Water comes into play on a lot of holes, especially the Par 3 10th (I think) which is entirely over water. Fairway bunkers strategically place.

Cleaning facilities were all working properly. I didn’t use the restaurant facilities so can’t comment.

Would definitely love to play here again.

4th time playing here. Great track. At its best when the weather is good.

Course shouldn’t have been open. We were let play in the wet. The course should have closed, every fairway waterlogged, standing water on greens, mud on the fairways. We only played 7 holes and headed home soaked. Miserable day ever! We all felt that we shouldn’t have been let play and given a refund. Even the group ahead called it a day after 7 holes. On a good day I know it’s a lovely golf course.

I’m sure it’s a lovely course but it shouldn’t have been opened today. When you see ducks in puddles in the middle of the fairway you know you’re in trouble.

Greens were in bad shape, very bumpy, too much sand. Fairways and tees muddy, bunkers were OK, but lack sand in greenside bunkers. Course is definitely overplayed and under maintained. Ibce a nice course, now just a mediocre parkland course.

Nice mature track, 7 very good holes ...rest are a bit ordinary. Bit muddy in spots, greens are very bumpy and a lot of sand after being punched. Bunkering placement is good, sand quite average. Great facilities (Especially range area), friendly staff and just needs a bit of attention to details( possible drainage as it wasnt really that wet this week) considering it's previous status.

Beautiful course. It was in great condition. I lost count of the golf balls I lost in the water but I'll definitely go back. The par 5s are all stunning. Maybe improve the signs from hole to hole but that's only a minor complaint.

Was a top class course years ago but unfortunately now the condition of the course isn't great

The course was ok . The greens not great for a championship course . Bunkers haven't been raked in weeks Boulders in them . And the fool who works in the pro shop has the personality of mongoose.

Great course layout and a great way to spend a Sunday evening in the sunshine on a beautiful golf course.
