La Cita Country Club

Course has a great layout with plenty of doglegs, elevation changes, and shots over water. The staff in clubhouse and starter are very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance crew has done a great job improving the condition of the course since the hurricanes. Greens and tee boxes have been improved and would be nice if some golfers took better care of them by fixing their divots. Overall had an enjoyable round.

Course is in terrible shape. They are about to loose the greens. I am going to give it a month or so before going back

The greens need work. Most greens had unputtable patches

No grass on the tea boxes at all, greens had baron burn spots and one has a bunker in it., Photo enclosed. It looks like they are still cleaning up from after the storms three weeks later. And tried to still charge @ 50$ at pro shop.

Played 2 weeks after hurricane blew thru, 6 holes cart path only, course really needs some care. Looks like it used to be great. Could still be with some care

Considering all the rain the course was in good condition.

Had a nice round of golf at LaCita. Staff is always friendly and very accommodating. Course has a really nice layout with lots of doglegs, elevation changes, and shots over water. Saw a friendly fox on hole number 2 that was relaxing itself around the tee box. Course is still cleaning up after hurricane so need to watch some shots carefully off of the fairway. Overall not bad for the money.

Understandable after hurricane. lot of debry and course needs a lot of mowing.

Course was in horrible condition, played as a single behind a slow foursome group through 12 holes. Only saw the ranger once from a distance, I don’t recommend unless you want something cheap and poorly kept up.

It would have been a three, but the greens were punched. Made putting a little difficult. You can tell this course used to be a gem, but it is really starting to slide downhill. I wish they would invest some money in fixing the cart paths, Which are crumbling in a lot of places. The greens were also weedy, the sand traps were overgrown. I wish a developer would come in and rescue this place because it could really be fantastic. They have the infrastructure and bones, the country club itself is very nice. Maybe if they offered steeply discounted memberships to the space industry or something, they would generate a lot more traffic and revenue for themselves.
