Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

My favorite course
Frog Hollow is an awesome place . Great golf course for its value. Very tasting bar foods with attentive staff. The club house manager (Kyle) is utmost professional who meets needs of their guests with exceptional customer skills. Thanks Frog Hollow n Kyle
The course was excellent, obviously a little soggy.
The course was obviously wet with the weather this week, but still played fair. One of the more fun layouts around! Staff was great and courteous.
Worth the trip
PROS
- cost. $40 on GolfNow on a nice Saturday. Worth the 90 minute drive from Lancaster Co Pa.
- layout as good as you could expect for Delaware where it's flat as a pancake.
- greens pro level with massive undulations.
- desk James was fantastic. Even though I was an hour early gave me the cart key and sent me out
CONS
- starter was a nice old guy (military vet) who was fun to chat with but had no clue how to keep things moving. James came out and took care of it.
WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK WHEN THEY ARE PLAYABLE AND WE STILL HAVE SNOW!
Fun course
Awesome day course was in great shape… greens hilly and challenging…staff was great… made for a good 68 degree day in November… will definitely be back!
Love frog hollow
Home course, love the rate and layout. Love how their greens are hilly, with that said. Today I played the fastest greens I’ve ever played. It was kind of unfun, impossible for the ball to stop. I could hit it 300 yards in the air, have it come straight down and it would still find a way to roll off the green. I farted on the ball and it rolled to the next tee box. Could just be the weather or if their rolling greens too much. I would play here again 10/10 times. Just my experience THIS WEEK.
Love Frog Hollow
Played today and the course was in great shape, especially considering all of the rain the last couple of days. Greens rolled nicely and any burnt patches from the summer are mending. Friendly staff as well!
Very challenging greens
Good value all around. I really love the ability to change the hole totally through the options of pin placement. Each green seems to have three tiers.
Great value golf
We got a 43 dollar rate for a Saturday morning which is incredible value in today's market. The greens have always been the strong point of Frog Hollow and they were firm and well cared for. We had a great day and the pace of play was good as well. The hour drive was well worth it.
Great time playing today!
This place was great. Staff super friendly and course was in pretty good condition. Greens were a lil slower at times but all in all had a really good day. Even got my first ever birdie on the 9th hole.
