Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Great course
Love frog hollow always affordable and course is in great condition
Frog Hollow is...fine
Frog Hollow is a fine golf course - and it's just that - fine. This is one of Middletown's easier courses so it's good for beginners or mid-high handicap golfers. The greens are above average and the fairways are ok. The tee boxes are absolutely atrocious and some of the worst you will ever play. They are hacked up and very sloped and slanted. The value for the money is good - just don't expect to be playing Bandon Dunes or Augusta National.
Aeration
I know aerating the greens has to happen at some point. But the greens were literally being aerated as I was playing. I’m talking guy pushing an aerator as I’m putting.
Frog hollow
Very nice course. Golf carts could be faster but in good shape. Greens are good and the whole course well taken care of. Staff very friendly.
Course was in good shape greens were excellent! Pace of play was very slow over 5 hours!
Pretty good
Fun day at FH. Course is enjoyable, in decent condition even with a lot of rain the day before. Good deal for under $50. Cart girl was 🔥
