Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Looking good, bro
Course is in great shape. A few bad patches on a few of the greens while several tee boxes are a bit chewed up, but overall the course is looking good. Frog is what it is: a decent golf course with a few nicely designed holes. Walking the course is easy because it’s mostly flat and the tee boxes are close enough between holes. Try it; walking makes the course more fun. Play from the tips if you are a longer hitter. The rest of us should play forward and enjoy the course’s simplicity. And remember, if your group keeps up with the group ahead, you’re doing it right. If you can’t see the group ahead but can see the group behind, you are the cause of slow play.

The starter and shop staff are extremely golfer friendly to start with
The course has had sand trap improvements which look great although I didn’t have to use them
I like this course due to the undulating greens and roly-poly putts

Great couse. I'm a 75 yr old 15 handicap. Played the white tees @6100 yards. A little long for me especially with the 25mph winds. Would definitely play here again from tge gold tees next time.

Frog Hollow
Greens and fairways in good condition, bunkers not so much. No sand. Love that they take single tees times unlike other courses close by.
Golf carts could use a upgrade both our carts seats were duct taped and cover on back was really bad shape. Starter was a cool dude. Course in really good shape.

These greens have great roll and fun to play on.
