Frog Hollow Golf Club
About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Great condition for early spring
Besides a few of the bunkers being clay, which I hope is from them being under construction, the course was in excellent condition for it being early spring. Frog hollow is one of my favorite courses in the area.
Great off season course in the middle of Delaware
For winter conditions this was a nice day on a good layout.
They had sanded and grooved greens which made it tough on birdie or par saving attempts
Respectable course
Course was decent but the starter had a real trashy attitude when I walked in. He had that “vision wasn’t good enough for the police force” type of disposition. May of gotten beat up a lot as a child. I’d be reluctant to go back because of it. Other than that it was a good layout and enjoyable situation.
First impression
Course was laid out very well. Greens not in the best condition with some weeds and significant aeration holes that affected play. This could be because it is early in the season. Would give it another try.
Gonna be great in Spring
I've played this course many times at all times of fhe year. For early March the fairways were in great shape and the greens were as good as one could expect. They seem very ready for Spring greening and I look forward to playing again in a month.
Fro Hollow Golf Course is worth playing
I love this golf course. First it’s fairways are wide and as flat as possible but it’s not an easy course. The owner Patrick and staff are great! Worth your money to okay.
Wide open
Very little issues with leaves. But still need to have better 150 marker poles.
Frog Hollow - fun course at a great value.
Frog Hollow is always a fun round. The conditions are always surprisingly good for the price that you pay. The only downside of this course is pace of play is usually 4.5 hours at a minimum on weekends.
