Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Very Fun; Much more challenging than the ones I usually play
Great course. Very pretty. Challenging greens (speed and slope). Some inconsistencies in green condition (bare spots) and speed. Got a GN hot deal for ~36 out the door, Abby half price of weekend rates. For that price, would absolutely play again and again.
Very solid
A little rough in spots, but always playable. I noticed a handful of spots that were very bad, and with the summer we had, I have no complaints.
Greens were rolling good, and the couple traps I found myself in were al playable. Personal course best 84 today from white tees.
Great track! The greens are in great shape and very undulating. Definitely a good test of your entire game but fair and fun too.

Played in a foursome and was done in less than 4 hours. Excellent pace of play. Great course!

The only reason why it’s not rated a 5 is because of the sand traps and they are working on those.
Great Value
Got a $30 hot deal and it was well worth it. I enjoy links style golf and appreciated the layout. Lots of negative write ups on the bunkers and yes they are more like hard packed dirt. Considering how hot the summer was I wasn't expecting anything special. But the fairways were in very good shape and the 3 inch rough was heavy. Excellent rolling greens. If you miss a putt it’s your fault.
