Frog Hollow Golf Club
About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

First De round
Not bad for my first round in Delaware
The starter was a treat to meet and the course was somewhat challenging
Some greens are huge but you can stick em as they as soft
I’ll return when it’s not 90+ Way too hot
Nice hills to use in play
First round in my new home of De
Worth the coin
Layout is fun and if you can work the ball the sides of the hills are perfect
I’ll go back again but with a long stick
Irons only creates issues on some holes
Go play
The starter has the perfect personality for that course
slow greens made round less fun
The layout is a good one. Fairways were in good shape. Bunkers were not. Greens were bumpy and VERY SLOW.
Good track
Bunkers need work, greens running slower than normal. All in all, good course.
Frog Hollow
The course was in great shape other than the one par 3 with all the geese on it and all their left overs.
Really nice course though. Nice challenging holes.
A nice course!
I live east of the Chesapeake Bay bridge and taking the 50 minute scenic drive to Frog Hollow is always a delight. The hot deals are an especially great value right now.
This course is challenging and in great shape. A few holes are CPO but we have had a lot of rain lately…but who hasn’t in this neck of the woods?
First time
Course was in great shape, I’ll definitely be back. It was very crowded, took 5 hours.
Good pace
The pace of plat was very good. Good value for playing. Sand traps need some help. Solution is to avoid them.
Remarkable return to playability!!!
Frog Hollow has always been one of my favorite course in the Middletown,De area. The course fell on hard times a few years ago and now It is back.and challenging.
Fun track
Great course! Links style with nice fairways and consistant greens that were in great shape dispite ball marks not fixed by the group in front of me .
Best value for your Bucks
The Frog is back and in the best condition overall. This course is well maintained and pace of play seems never an issue. For the value and condition this is the place I'll be spending my money. The bar and food is excellent also, not to mention the staff that's always friendly and accommodating.
Much lower price point than a course of their quality would normally be. Didn’t use any off course amenities so I can’t speak to those.
Beautiful day on the course
Course was in great condition. Mid week and course wasn’t that crowded. Some of the par 4’s on back 9 seemed long. They moved the senior tees back . Great day , come over and play here !!!!
